Fairy 14: Zack vs Lovely

Reality and the canon are two different entities. In Fairy Tail's canon, it is common for everyone to shout their spell or special move's name, when they attacked.

However, in reality, if the wizard were to shout out their magic spell's name, there is a possibility that the other wizard could find a way to counterattack that's wizard's spell.

That is why, one of the first things that Makarov shown Zack when he joined Fairy Tail. Never reveal your spell's name in battle. It is important of naming attacks and magic attacks to help to remember them. But it is foolish and dangerous to call them out in battle.

Seeing that Earth Magic is being used in a similar way as Ice Maker Magic, by creating several spikes to attack him. Zack himself, didn't idle around, and dodged the incoming spikes of earth, and used Gravity Magic to pull himself into the air.

And once Jack pulled himself in the air, he once again used Gravity Magic, only to push himself towards Lovely, who has a shock expression seeing Zack's ingenus way of using Gravity Magic. While Zack himself, came closer to Lovely, and swing the greatsword made of ice towards him.

However, Lovely himself, is no average wizard. He has many years of experience under his belt. As he can easily judge when to attack, and when to dodged. And when Zack came closer to him, Lovely uses Charm Magic to distance himself from Zack, who had to forcedly used Gravity Magic, to dodged the incoming Charm Magic attack.

Seeing that close combat is his speciality. A smirk appeared on Lovely's face, knowing he can easily capture this brat who can use Gravity Magic.

After all, Lovely is part of the underworld. He was once part of a legal guild, however they had kicked him out since his main used of magic is Charm Magic, followed by Earth Magic as a means to attack.

Lovely was an honest wizard. Unlike those wizards that used it on illegal purposes! Lovely only used Charm Magic on monsters, outlaws, and even dark wizards!

However, reality is not as it seems. Since many Charm Wizards did use Charm Magic to slave others and make them do immoral things against their will.

It is no wonder why Charm Magic ended up being banned, if many misuse such a magic itself. That is why, because of those immoral wizards, Lovely and other just like him, are labelled as criminals by the Magic Council.

After all, the Magic Council are the ones that ruled the world of wizards. And if they say it's bad, it is bad. And of course, that doesn't change the fact, many wizards did misuse Charm Magic for their own sick desires.

And because Lovely was labelled as an immoral wizard by others, even if he never did anything immoral to begin. He was kicked out by the guild he belong to, not to mention, other legal guild didn't wanted to take in a former Charm Wizard. Causing Lovely to fall into the dark side himself.

It also the main reason, why Lovely has many bandits under him, just like these men Zack, Natsu, and Gray defeated. Who he used to captured people, only to used his Charm Magic on them, and make them into perfect slaves themselves.

Of course, maybe because he has fallen to become such an immoral wizard himself. Lovely also begun to fell into his own sicken desires, that he has been holding back for many years. And that sick desire was no other then the fact, this perverted wizard is into children, be they girls or boys, he doesn't care!

It is no wonder, Lovely licked his lips. Seeing the three boys before him. After all, each one has their uniqueness. Gray is handsome type, Natsu is a cute boy type, while Zack has a wild vibe, and his body is quite hot, even if he still young himself.

While Lovely dreamed of unsettling things. Zack on the other hand, will have no clue what a lolicon or a shorta is. Focus on the matter on hand, that close combat isn't going to work against this strange wizard.

'I can't fight close enough, without sacrificing something in return…' Zack thought, as his instincts telling him being hit once with Charm Magic will spell his end. That why Zack leaped backwards each time when that Charm Magic about to hit him.

'Well… besides Erza… this will be the first time using this in actual combat.' Zack went thinking about his only way of attacking from a distance. Most of his range type attacks are still under training. That's why Zack himself want to finished Lovely off in close combat. But all his effort is becoming fruitless before this experienced wizard.

On the other hand, Lovely smirked, seeing Zack is failed to attack him again and again. And knew it wouldn't be long before the boy will run out of magical power.

And then it happened. Lovely who was grinning, notices the ice greatsword in Zack's hands has began to tremble. At first, Lovely thought he was seeing things. Until he it happened, Zack who stood about 15m away from Lovely, just swing down his sword.

But the moment the sword slashed at the air, the air itself begun to shake and move, and then the sound of the air being cut sounded, and before Lovely could understand what's happening, something just sliced off his left arm!

"Argh!?" Lovely cried in pain, while he held the armless arm with fear. As he doesn't understand what just happened!

"You see… this magic is more dangerous you can imagine. With Ezra, I only used it at tenth of it's true power… this Quake Magic truly is a magic of pure destruction you know. I like using Gravity Magic, but Quake Magic is too dangerous to use. That why I normally don't use it… but now, I want to try many things on you… but why do I feel angry seeing your lust… I don't understand that name. But the moment I see your eyes… it reminded me… of lust. Something I want to destroy."

When Zack said that with indifferent eyes. The ground under Zack begun to shake, as he blasted himself into the air, and by using the rippling air that created by Quake Magic as a foothold, Zack blasts himself towards Lovely at a very alarming speed.

Lovely looked at the powers of Gura Gura no Mi at first hand and became scared. It truly like Zack said, a magic of pure destruction. The weakness of this magic is clear as day, more powerful the attack it is, longer it takes to release.

Even if Gura Gura no Mi might not rank first of the most powerful Devil Fruits. But in terms of firepower alone, it does. After all, only this Devil Fruit has the power to destroy the whole world.

That is why, out of firepower alone, Gura Gura no Mi devil fruit powers can be ranked at the very top.

Zack's icy greatsword wildly vibrates, which in turn, sends off blasts of slashes made of supersonic force itself, towards this perverted wizard. Who himself, used Earth Magic to block those supersonic slashes. However, that soon failed, as the wall of earth was shattered in pieces, and behind the earthen wall is Zack himself, who raises not his sword, but his own fist towards Lovely.

"It is true… this last year, I didn't develop much in terms of stats. However, I didn't simply idle around either… but to understand my own magic more. That's why, since you wanted me to be part of your experiments, sure… as long you survive mine own!"

Zack roared while smashes his fist towards the frightened Lovely, who looked into Zack's lifeless eyes. If anyone in the guild, were to see the current Zack, without a doubt, they will think he is another person.

And in that case, they will not be wrong. After all, something deep inside Zack begun to slowly awaken. And those emotions that awaken has been dwelling inside his heart, made the current Zack into a very unstable state, when those emotion claim their control over him.

With Quick Magic rippling the air around his fist, Lovely quickly regain himself from his state of shock and fear. And used his Earth Magic to create another earthen wall to block this monster!

However, it failed, when the vibrating fist created a powerful shockwave the moment it hit the earthen wall. Not just shattering the wall made of earth, but even Lovely was blast away tens of meters into the air!

It wasn't long before Lovely, who has several bones broken just by the shockwave alone, never mind getting hit by the fist. Without a doubt, he will be killed, if he was hit by that fist! Not to mention, several more bones crack or break, when the poor wizard fell back to the ground.

He wanted to cry and heal his wounds. But he cannot, he cannot even move a single finger, as he felt the monstrous boy's eyes on him. Lovely only slowly looked up at the monster, when he heard Zack slowly walked towards him.

"Like I thought… Quake Magic… it really drain a lot of Magic… I only used it few small and big moves But I am nearly empty… well, it not like I need Magic Power to finished you off, don't you agree?" Zack simply said as he stood before the broken Lovely, and raise his icy greatsword.

"Wait…! I can give you anything you want! Money, I have about 10 million! Women, with my Charm Magic I can give you all the women you want, harem, right? It's an everyman's dream!" Lovely shouted. But that was no use, because Zack only stared down coldly at Lovely with deep killing intent.

"Because people like you… my sisters was taken away from me… because people like you… never seem to die out no matter how much I butchered your kind. But… in the end, I die for love… that is the only thing I wanted. A harem, full of real love, people to stop me to become a monster, like that trash… that's why… die."

Like that, full of many different kinds of emotions always bottled up ended up leaking out, Zack killed for the first time in this world. But Zack himself looked at the body of the lifeless Lovely with cold eyes. Before stepping backwards and passing out due to memories he doesn't want to recall.
