It has been a week since the great battle between fairy tail and the phantom lord guilds. In this time period many wizards have been licking their wounds. No wizard was injured more than Marco. There isn't a single wizard that doesn't know of the Mighty accolades that marco had pulled off in a single day. Blocking the mighty Jupiter canon, Nearly destroying it with one blow, Then going on to fight what many consider an S-class wizard in the mighty Eneru, and even battling the mighty wizard saint Jose if only briefly. He also showed great leadership in the face of diversity. Stepping up and guiding his guild mates during their time of crisis. Marco finally wakes.

Marco awoke in the infirmary once again being held onto by Mirajane.

I gotta stop doing this to her. This battle was a wake up call i can't be content with just my current strength. It's time to go back to the basics. It's time to start training again. Marco thought to himself. Once he was ready he woke Mirajane up from her slumber with a kiss.

" Good morning beautiful!" Marco said with a smile

" Marco!" Mira yelled crying into his chest. " why do you always do this to yourself?"

" I couldn't let them hurt my little fairy could I!" Marco teased causing Mira to pout at him.

"Come on you big lug, The master wanted me to tell him the moment you woke up. Can you walk?"

" No I think a beautiful lady should help me there." Marco said teasingly causing mira to blush.

As the two of them made their way to the guild halls construction sight Mira, filled him in on the events that had happened while he was unconscious. From starting the rebuilding to the magic council showing up and trying to arrest him.

" Wait those bastards tried to arrest me while I was out!? I'm swear I'm gonna hurt those bastards." Marco proclaimed

" Thankfully the master was there to stop them." Mira said not even wanting to think about what Marco would have done if he had woken up in one of their cells.

The two talked all the way until they arrived at the guild hall, which was still being built. Upon arriving everyone present erupted into cries of happiness and joy.

" Yo Marco welcome back buddy!" Gray yelled

" MARCO FIGHT ME!" Natsu yelled jumping at marco to attack him before Mira hit him over the head.

" Knock it off Natsu!" Mira said scolding the boy

" Marco I'm so happy to see you're ok!" Lucy said

" Marco the master wants to see you, it's important!" Erza said looking at Marco, while giving Mirajane a knowing nod.

" Ok what are you two hiding from me?" Marco asked noticing the look the two women were sharing.

" Nothing!" They both replied smiling.

Needless to say at didn't make Marco feel anything, but fear knowing how these women were.

" Ok trial by fire!" Marco said.

" Oh Marco! You're finally up are you? Glad to see you my boy!" Makarov said

" Thanks master glad to be back up on my feat again. Erza and Mira said you wanted to speak with me?"

" Ah yes I did. ALRIGHT EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" Makarov yelled standing on one of the buildings support beams. " I've got an announcement to make! I Want to personally reward Marco For his courageous acts during our greatest hour of need. Marco step forward. Marco! You have sacrificed so much for this guild! You've put your body and life on the line multiple times to save your friends. When Jose threatened to wipe fairy tail out completely with the mighty weapon jupiter You did not hesitate to stop the blast from hurting everyone else. You have faced multiple S-class opponents in Both Bacchus and The lightning wizard from Phantom lord. When I was taken out you stepped up into a leadership position and carried the hopes and dreams of every member of this guild on your back. You've shown you have the courage to back down from a losing fight, The strength necessary to carry on, and the qualities of a leader capable of leading the next generation. As such I've talked with the others and I herby Promote You Marco Fairy tails Phoenix To S-Class." Makarov said shocking everyone, but erza and mirajane. " You've made me proud my boy! Keep growing stronger not just as a fighter, but as a person! You now carry the future of our guild on your back!"

" YES MASTER!" Marco said kneeling down in front of makarov. " I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR FAIRY TAIL, NOT BECAUSE OF MY POSITION, BUT BECAUSE YOU! ALL OF YOU ARE MY FAMILY NOW." Marco yelled affirming his commitment.

" All right!" Natsu Yelled

" Congratulations Man!" Gray said

" Congratulations marco! Lucy yelled

" Marco, you've proven yourself to be my better let me be the first to welcome you to S-class!" Erza said

" Congratulation Marco! I'm so proud of you!" Mira said before being engulfed in a kiss from marco

A new S-class wizard has been born the news reaching to the others

" So Makarov made him an S-class wizard! It's good to know fairy tail has been left in good hands." Mystogan said overlooking magnolia
