Chapter 60: Demon May Cry (2)
~Rou POV~
"Huh?"
"Come on darling!"
"Yes, Master come on~"
"Teehee!"
Suddenly I find myself in what seems to be a utopia of some kind seeing all kinds of anime girls from Fairy Tail dancing around me like I'm some kind of King in bikini wear…
The fuck?
I mean ok I used to have that idea of a dream one time in the past but now… I'm somewhat disturbed.
Is... is this hell?
My nightmare?
Genuinely confused I focused my eyes outside what seemed to be a land of Crocus except I'm sitting on the King's Throne raising an eyebrow at this, "Ok… last I checked I was somehow with Mavis searching for some kind–"
"Oh darling~"
I see my eyes pondering towards my lovely grown-up Mavis in a fancy dress coming up to me holding my hand happily, "We have to go to our formal greetings of your genius today! We have to –"
Hold up…
Blinking a bit pinching myself feeling pain making me frown as my paranoia is acting up again while I gaze at the 'people' around me.
If the pain doesn't work how about questioning?
They seemed to freeze slightly at me with Mavis asking me with no worries like we usually do pouting at me, "What's wrong dear? You're making the girls here a bit uncomfortable and I know you winning against Acnologia and the Dragon Gods made you worry. But no worries we are fine thanks to you."
Fine?
Thanks to me?
And killing Acnologia and Dragon Gods are far away ahead.
In fact, I haven't told Mavis I was going to slay the Dragon Gods yet… despite the warnings, I was given in the future I'm a go-ahead and wipe them off unless I can reason with them.
And I planned for that to be a SOLO mission. How she figured that out… she wouldn't have known I would've made that a certainty if that was the case.
This only fills me with suspicion of this place I reside in because it was something I thought once long ago with childish dreams. This is merely a mistake I dreamt in my delusion so that begs the question…
Where exactly am I currently right now?
Glaring harshly at Mavis not relenting at the least I gave out a simple question to her, "Ok Mavis… what is my deepest secret I would share with you?"
She smiled and answered resolutely undeterred about her answer to me, "Easy! You told me about –!!!"
Like that, she suddenly found herself frozen in place not able to find an answer as I stand up figuring out what happened, "I see… I'm stuck inside my own subconscious mind by the Magical Beast… He must have knocked me out…"
Trick question.
I keep my secrets to the grave NEVER showing or telling anyone. Not even I would tell Mavis EVERYTHING about my secrets.
Especially about the PHILOSOPHER STONE or its creation. Those will forever be kept hidden from the world, but it did clear up my suspicion though.
That pretty much cinches I'm living in a lie. Clearing my mind the dream version I saw was nothing but a lie.
*Creack*
Breaking the fragments of the dream and finding out where I'm at it was simple to figure out but scarily hard to figure out.
That dream was something I previously thought about when I first came to this world about conquering it taking full control with my knowledge but I let go of that dream of that kind of utopia for myself a long time ago.
And besides that the familiarity of the area gave me a dead giveaway that I'm not standing in the real world but a false one that messes with my own perception of reality.
Oh, this Magical beast is so going to die.
Besides that, I have been faithful to one lover and that's her alone. Not those harem genetic types that I once thought up long ago.
There are just some dreams that aren't meant to be. Heck, my worst fear was ever becoming like that harem protagonist so perhaps this dream thought it that way for me?
Now… seeing I haven't woken up yet means whatever force is keeping me in place wouldn't let me go that easily.
I have to wake myself up somehow…
Killing myself isn't going to work if I'm just going to be sent back here again in dreamland if the enemy wants to kill me for good.
"Super Archive: Gamer Time."
*Shiii*
My screen shows up with built-in instructions with data numbers showing me smirking at this digitizing platform similar to the Pacific Rim robots where the pilot's actions are copying down along with a screen saying the words 'Ready Player Start?'
I'm so going to enjoy fighting the fucker sending me here and he won't pull that stunt with me again if I'm in my subconscious actively fighting here inputting controls for my body.
Time to game on.

~Third POV~
Slumbering asleep unconscious by the sudden curse inflicted on them Amon goes ahead and grabs the two of them by the arms pulling them forward, "At least it makes my job a bit easier. Hmm… I can sense these two are Wizards. Good something for the Underworld King to take time with."
Dragging them from the ground the two are now in a slumber-like dream state with each of them having their joyful memories but in reality, are being towed away by Amon…
Unfortunately for Amon, he met the worse kind of enemy to encounter from Rou as he stirs slightly…
Suddenly Rou's eyes open wide revealing a digitalized number activated as if linked clearing his eye iris showing a golden yellow with screens popping up looking up somewhat surprised at the attacker.
Rou seeing this through his body eyes from his subconsciousness looked a bit shocked seeing the creature coming to his own conclusions, 'Wait… a Demon?! But I didn't detect any Magic from it but… oh. Then what caused us to fall asleep was a Curse technique. I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky meeting one but I should be thankful though…'
Rou merely smiled seeing a real-life sub-species of Demons created by Zeref known as the Etherious a race of Demons that were born from the Books of Zeref.
Etherious is the given name to the subspecies of the Demon race that were created from the books made by the Dark Mage Zeref; all Etherious possess an inborn drive to kill Zeref, established at the genetic level, which is expressed consciously as a feeling to return to his side.
Unlike the Demons that inhabit Galuna Island, not all Etherious possess wings and they do not all possess Human forms, and those who do lose their Human appearance when transitioning into their Etherious Form.
Also, in stark contrast to the rest of the living organisms capable of doing so, Etherious, or at least Tartaros Etherious in particular, do not make use of Magic, but rather Curses, which accordingly run off of Curse Power.
Also, various members of the Etherious subspecies have displayed the ability to enter a so-called Etherious Form, in which their appearances change, and they gain access to an enhanced set of their already available abilities, something which is dubbed as utilizing the "real power" of the race.
*zzzz*
"AHHHHHH!!!!"
With Amon gripping Rou's arm as he places his hand over his arm, he activated his Water Alchemy to boil the demon's blood immediately getting the reactive effect cry in pain as Amon's eyes widen at the sudden pain.
Forced to let go as Rou's body goes forward holding onto Mavis's body gently leaning her towards the wall as Amon falls to the ground tossing and turning in pain screaming, "IT BURNS!!! IT BURNS!!! MY BODY FEELS LIKE IT'S ON FIRE!!!"
Standing up dusting himself Rou's body clean himself up speaking to Amon in a robotic tone to the demon, "Now that's rude. You're the one that put the effort to capture us so you better do expect us to fight back."
Amon finally felt his body as his own blood stopped boiling bleeding out from his pours as steam came out from the demon glaring hatefully at Rou shock evident in his eyes, "YOU!!! YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE AWAKE!!! MY CURSE WOULDN'T –"
"Fairy Alchemy: Air Blast."
*BOOOM*
Releasing Lyra Alchemy at Amon not bothering to blast him with a shockwave attack against him pushing him to a nearby wall and forming spider cracks from behind as he growls launching himself over to Rou with his arms intending to rip him apart.
Seeing this Rou Fairy Alchemy transmuted his body into an element changing the Ethernano within into a deadly element as soon as Amon claw phases through his body…
*ZZZZZZ*
"AJHHHH!"
Suddenly Amon's body got electrocuted as Rou's body changed into the lightning element with sparks of electricity around his body grabbing him tightly, "Oh, no you don't. You aren't going anywhere mister demon you're staying with me."
Feeling the rush of electricity going through Amon's body he glared hatefully in pain feeling his own skin burn him merely from contact feeling his blood boil from the heat of the natural lightening with his skin popping up from the sheer heat of being in contact with Rou trying to escape.
But Amon is surprised to see he isn't moving as Rou forced him to stay in place inflicting more pain as his skin melts Rou smirks at this, "Oh… you don't have to worry about dying yet Demon. Oh no… You are one of Zeref's works I still need to interrogate you for what happened to the miners."
"AHAHA!"
Rou froze with Amon as the demon gave him his answer bitterly spitefully to the end, "You will never get those insects back! They have already been sent to Torturous!! You, stupid humans, will never – HMMMMMM!!!!!"
*ZZZZZ*
Plunging his fist into Amon's mouth Rou began to deconstruct his whole body as Amon's eyes widen in pain feeling each and every single one of his own cells getting destroyed experienced a pain like no other as Rou deconstructed him but ensured leaving the demon's nervous system intact.
Leaving the nervous system would imply all the pain of each of his very cells feels the sudden pain of being torn apart sending it to the brain translating the pain and forcing the demon Amon to black out from the pain falling down.
*Thud*
As the demon Amon fall down Rou looked at his hand that he plunged into the demon's mouth now showing a Origin similar to the one used to store magic Rou mumbled to himself about the reward he got, "So this is how a demon uses to conduct their curses huh? Makes sense since the two Curses and Magic both originate from the same origin but splits apart in the evolutionary line. Quite the interesting development if I do say so myself."
"Quite."
Stopping in place Rou's eyes gazes towards the Communication Lacrima viewing Mard Geer's face expressing arrogance, "That's quite the interesting development I see here. An insect knows the difference between Magic and Curses. Never expected that much from a mere human."
