Dragon Runes Grimoire Obtained!

After entering the treasury, instead of a room full of gold and jewelry like those commonly seen in T. V. shows in his previous life, it's just an ordinary room filled with shelves.

On the shelves are items with a nameplate in front to introduce the item and its functions, but some items don't have a nameplate as no one figured out the use of those things.

Mr. Fuji then took out a golden hourglass and put it on the table at the side and said.

"You have three hours to choose two things in the treasury, after three hours regardless of picking one, two, or none we will leave."

John nodded and started to explore the treasury giving priority to plants or seeds and books of any kind.

But even though he focused on looking for plants and books, he couldn't help but look at the other stuff.

Like this blood-red potion in front of him, John had a few black lines on his forehead looking at the name and description.

The first one to be removed is Dragon wood since it's not a growable material that can help him in the long run.

The Golden Bamboo was also removed from the list since it can still be found in the outside world with a bit more searching.

Then that only leaves John with the Azure lotus, it's not even a competition as John had decided at the very beginning.

He's very greedy for this gold mine of a renewable resource!

He can even make it into the main ace product of his magic shop in the future.

That's right! John decided to open a magic shop beside his apartment and restaurant in the future.

This magic shop will sell products like devices invented by John or rare medicines that grow in the Mage Sanctuary.

And Azure Lotus with its incredible healing properties after processing into paste and pills will definitely be popular with wizards in the future.

After getting the tag of the Azure lotus, John went to the bookshelves on the side that is filled with different grimoires of different types.

From basic magics like fire magic to more advanced Memory make they have a lot of magic but John skipped all of them and went to the last shelf where the most precious magics are typically stored.

But after John searched for a long time, he still couldn't find the grimoire for the Dragon Runes.

That's when John remembered what Sebastian said due to there being no dragons roaming Earthland today, Dragon Runes slowly declined until there were no more users for it.

So he hurried back to the first shelf and sure enough, he found the Grimoire lying in a dusty corner.

After making sure that it was really what it is, he picked up the item tag and went to Mr. Fuji.

At this moment more than half of the hours sand glass has passed suggesting that John spent more than an hour and a half searching for treasures.

After handing the tags to Mr. Fuji.

Reading the first tag, Mr. Fuji nodded thinking that it was a wise choice to choose this one.

After reading the second one, Mr. Fuji's expression became weird, and asked.

"Are you sure you want to pick this one?"

John nodded, "I'm sure that I'll pick this one."

Mr. Fuji shrugged and said it's your choice.

After that, he went and took one pot of Azure Lotus and a copy of the grimoire of Dragon Runes and handed it to John.

After that, they left the treasury and went back the way they came from with Mr. Fuji going back to the study and John going back to his room.
