Chapter 195: The Grand Magic Games (6)

~F. Rogue C. POV~

Everything is not right…. This timeline is all wrong!

I couldn't help but notice the clear difference but something happened. Something that wasn't supposed to happen happened.

In the current rows of events, everything is wrong. Lucy was meant to lose. Raven Tail was meant to exist and yet…

Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy of Crime Sorcery they call themselves exist. Everything I know is not exact but Fairy Tail winning the Grand Magic games is mostly intact.

Yet… I couldn't help but glare my eyes from the stands one man that shouldn't be here. One I have no recollection of in the future.

Silva Knights.

The proclaimed Strongest Mage to ever live. One that ended the demons of Zeref only a few months back according to the princess.

It was very likely I managed to trick her into knowing the future proclaiming Fairy Tail would remain victorious to which I'm correct.

But Silva Knights was someone I have no info on. An anomaly that even I have no idea. One with no information but to be wary of this man.

Sitting down cross-legged glaring at the news matters not. Even if this man proclaimed that he had slaughtered the 5 Dragon Gods it merely means nothing to Acnologia.

That's a monster who would rule the world and erase most of humanity. There's no hope against that fiend.

Hence why I traveled through the past to kill Lucy Heartfilia but the princess will need to use her because of her Golden Keys.

However, that may prove to be difficult since she never used this <Star Dress> spell before. I have no idea what went wrong with the timeline of events but all I do know I must become the king of dragons.

My spell to control them is fully prepared!

I can't let these fools do as they please. I need to secure my own goal and that's to eliminate Lucy once and for all.

Strongest Mage or not. No one will stop me. The future is inevitable the outcome will not change because of one man.

Not even Dragon Slayers will stop my goals. Even he alone can't slaughter the army of dragons from Eclipse Gate.

Coming around was Princess Hisui E. Fiore with her Arcadios personal bodyguard reassuring something with me in a calm tone, "Tell me man from the future is it true that we need to acquire Lucy or merely the Golden Celestial Keys for Eclipse Gate to open a cannon that can eliminate the dragons?"

Standing up from my position I responded in a serious tone curtly nodding to the princess, "Yes your majesty. Opening the gates is needed for the Eclipse Gate to be fully needed to save everyone."

Kneeling Hisui hesitates as Arcadios voices out his opinion of the matter in a serious tone analyzing me, "Truly wanderer of time is this the necessary weapon we need to eliminate the dragons?"

I curtly nodded at this as their gazes expressed concern for their people. At this Arcadios soon spoke out loud in a stern tone, "In that case, we will need proof to know what you say is real. Or merely words of a fool."

I merely grinned at this mentally that they fell for it –

*SPLAT*

"Ack!"

Spitting out blood surprised by this my eyes are alarmed as a thin long blade exited my body spitting blood, "Ack! How dare – Ak!"

Suddenly my eyes dilate feeling my heart stop gasping for air as the princess slowly levels down an odd headgear expressing pity as she spoke to me, "I'm sorry it came to this Future Rogue. But we had already been warned by my father something off was coming from the Grand Magic Games. Your existence and ill intent to trick me in your ploy harming my Kingdom I can't let to fruition."

I growled struggling to breathe in defiance muttering desperately, "H-How…"

Revealing my answer soon enough the man who ruined my plans by the name of Silva Knights appeared, responding in a cold tone, "Sorry mate but when my friend Jellal asked for my help the weird magic resembling Zeref the King asked for my help in the matter. The guy trusts me to get things done."

Wiping the blade off my eyes widened seeing the Lacrimas containing the hearts of the White and Shadow Dragon in the palm of my hands as curse markings appeared over my body gasping for air as he spoke out, "Don't bother living Rogue. That's the One-Hit Killer Murasame one cut from this poisonous blade so goodbye dragon boy."

Damn it… Feeling cold and regret washing over me killing my partner Sting… At least… will be together again Frosch…

/////

~Silva K. POV~

I sighed out loud seeing the dead man going over to Princess Hisui and Arcadios asking of their condition, "So then… you all good you two?"

The two remained silent before Arcadios finally replied in a heavy tone massaging his temples, "Sigh… peachy Knights. I'll guess that his majesty requested your help?"

I grinned eagerly cleaning up the mess with <Telekinesis > spell naturally responding in a curious tone, "Yup! But this is free of charge last, I need to do is destroy the blasted Eclipse Gate. Sounds like the easiest solution to our problem. Can't have some crazy time traveler mess with the past, can't we? I'm more surprised that his majesty didn't destroy the blasted thing."

Arcadios merely sighed at my antics commanding his guards to clean up and gesturing me to follow where the Eclipse Gate was located leaving Hisui to her thoughts following us, "Sigh… I swear if it wasn't for the fact you help our soldiers with teaching better combat practice or training I would've thrown you into the slammer… assuming they could contain you."

I laughed at Arcadio's claims mentioning Gildarts broke out of it in the past causing him to twitch, "Ah… that's cute thinking so. But Gildarts managed to break out and I'll probably rule it anyway if anything out of boredom."

Arcadios rolled his eyes but didn't deny my claims. And he wouldn't because I'm somewhat chummy with the King.

Considering I helped him gain more followers along with powerful allies I'm an asset and deterrent to outside Kingdom enemies. Like the Scarlet Despair for one.

Fortunately, though the Magic Council still has their Face along with some custom-made Teigu's added to the soldier's ranks thanks to Athena and my assistance on the matter.

Not the same grade as my personal one's. Think more of Shingu but still dangerously useful, especially with Arcadios armored up with the Dragon Bonemail Armor.

With Athena working on Alchemy and with the Kingdom Military Armory creating weapons like my Dragon Weapons they worked well for the guy.

Although Princess Hisui finally responded feeling ashamed using Spectator's ability to read F. Rogue's thoughts in a saddened tone, "Still… to think of that future would occur… and planned to use my naivety to complete it… if you weren't around I would've listened without a second thought…"

I merely grinned patting her on the head and getting to know the little Cinnabon bun causing her to pout, "Oh, come on Brussels sprouts! You know I'll come running along if something were to happen since we spent the last years talking formally."

She tried to bonk me annoyed by my antics releasing some of her teenage frustrations out only to miss as I dodged, "Oh I know so your wise mouth! Out of everyone I met, you don't treat me with respect but that of a child patting my head! One of these days you'll respect the crown you horrible trickster! You sent ants to attack my pants made you my public enemy!!"

I laughed at her louder causing her to blush harder. It's our daily routine once I managed to get under her skin as I replied childishly, "Sureeee princess? Take your complaints to the nearest person to give a shit?"

I did so picking my ears and tossing any trash inside as she growls at me stomping her foot in an angry tone, "Out of all the men I see in my life you by far take the cake being the embodiment of scum!"

I merely acted out blushing acting in a childish act taking it as a compliment, "Why your Majesty what a grand compliment!"

Hisui grew tick marks clenching her fist muttering stomping on our way to the treasury room in silent anger, "One of these days Silva Knights… one of these blasted days you'll get a taste of your own medicine…"

Trust me the irony isn't lost on me for that one. Karma merely came back in the form of Natsu saying fuck you to my Spirit Arts. Sigh… fucking Salamander.

She needed a friend when I was on the job to train the soldiers or Rune knights during my request. But I also made sure to make some connections in the past years one of which was the King then to the others.

It wasn't easy but damn does it feel good to have everything work out as intended. But regardless though we reached our destination.

Opening into the treasury I raised an eyebrow questioning why they have it here, "Not gonna judge but why have a time-traveling gate in the treasury room? Seems kind of redundant to have it here for any time traveler to take your Jewels?"

Arcadios for his part honestly shrugged his shoulders off the matter responding as he shook his head, "No idea. You can ask Your Majesty that question while I recheck everything to see if not was stolen."

Fair enough. Turning my attention around I began to focus on the gate itself feeling my mana being siphoned off to it.

The Gate has a large door with an elaborate design. At the center of the door is a sun with a darkened moon below it. The lower section of the door from the sun past the moon is dark blue with golden lines, and the upper section is green and split into twelve segments. Around the sun are several circles, the innermost one connecting the moon and twelve holes, one in each segment.

A set of steps leads up to the door and two pillars stand on either side of the door with an arch connecting them. Atop the arch is an emblem consisting of an eclipsed sun. On either side of the Gate is an additional support, fashioned in the shape of a leg. It is made from a super strong, Magic-resistant metal known as Maginium.

Okay then… time to show off my stuff.

Bringing Extase out Princess Hisui questions me bringing a giant pair of scissors in a doubtful tone, "Really? You plan to cut it down –"

*SHINNG*

Leaving no time I commence to cut it apart with one good swing as I yell out loud, "YES I AM!"

…Silence filled the room as Princess Hisui merely expressed a smug look on her face, "Oh? Seems like you failed at –"

*THUD*

She stopped frozen as a chunk of the door was cut apart I expressed with a smug grin, "Oh, please do go on Your Majesty?"

She merely growled at me lightly storming off as Arcadios laughed lightly at my antics, "Haha… you do know one of these days she might send a group of guards after you for treason one of these days?"

I returned my Extase as I responded in a curious tone shaking my head, "Maybe… but she'll have to find someone strong enough to pull that off."

Arcadios only sighed as I walked with him as he finally responded thanking me for the job, "Regardless though your help has greatly averted what could be our end. Although I do wonder what to do about Acnologia though…"

At this I replied causing him to pause at my words in a confident tone, "You let me worry about that. He and I have a score to settle. If not, else I'll send him away where he can't harm anyone…"

Arcadios only laughed at my words but took me where to leave the palace in a humorous tone of his voice, "Hahaha! Sure… although I'll be sure to prepare our countermeasure. The Dragon Bones and advantages of your contingency plans have merit only if you lose of course Knights. Now good night and hopefully have fun with the Grand Magic Games. Now you best be off while I take care of Her Majesty young man."

I only smirked giving a thumbs up leaving for the night. No dragon threat to ruin the day. And that's what I have in mind.

To have fun with my friends and win this tournament in Fairy Tail fashion. I wouldn't have it any other way.
