Mirajane was stunned for a moment when she heard Orzel said he wanted to join the guild but soon calmed herself.

Although the guild was famous for being the strongest in the whole of Fiore.

Not many people joined them due to their eccentric nature.

"Sure, let me call the master here."

Mirajane turned around and left towards the guild office to call for the guild master.

As she left, Orzel took the opportunity to look around the hall.

He knew some major characters from the anime but not their names.

He could see Hana being surrounded by the female guild members, who were probably asking her about him.

Since they didn't have any ill intentions he didn't say anything and kept looking around.

He could see many dragon slayers in the guild.

There was Natsu Dragneel and a muscular man with a rough face whose name he didn't know, probably the iron dragon slayer.

There was also a young girl in her early teens who was accompanied by a white cat who looked quite strict.

The girl was the sky dragon slayer and her partner cat.

'They haven't been to Edolas I guess, since I can't see the third cat.'

He haven't been to Edolas but he had seen some records about it in his travels.

He saw some characters who he recognized too, like the blonde girl Lucy Heartfilia, Erza scarlet, Gray fullbuster.

Others he didn't know and didn't care.

He continued looking around when his eyes fell on something interesting or someone interesting.

He saw a beautiful women who was drinking, from a huge barrel, and didn't seem uncomfortable or tipsy at all.

He remembered that in the show Gildarts had a daughter who liked to drink a lot.

As he was looking at her, Cana, who was sitting quite close to him seem to have noticed him staring at her.

"What is it? Have you been charmed by my beauty?"

Cana had a teasing smirk on her face, She didn't mind him looking at her since in her opinion Orzel was the most handsome man she had seen.

She was expecting a flustered reaction from him being caught lacking.

But what she didn't expect was.

"No, I was just thinking that I should properly teach my daughter to not grow into a rotten adult like you."

Cana nearly spit all her beer when she heard Orzel and was now looking at him with a pissed expression.

Even though Orzel had to admit that she was very beautiful and looked to be his type, he wasn't going to simp over her.

"What did you say?!"

"Drinking too much doesn't mean someone is rotten!"

Cana went near Orzel and was yelling at him with an annoyed expression.

She didn't expect the handsome guy to have quite a nasty mouth.

"Isn't that true?"

"Even though you are very pretty but that doesn't matter when you are so sloppily drinking the day away."

Orzel was shaking his head at her, he didn't want Hana to grow up like her.

Cana was thrown off guard by Orzel, she was a bit flustered and happy when she heard him complimenting her but was pissed again when she heard him insulting her.

"YOU-"

"Alright, alright, don't fight you two."

Cana who wanted to yell at Orzel again was cut-off by Mirajane who had returned.

Cana still wanted to say something but ultimately stayed quiet when she saw the guild master, Makarov Dreyar, with Mirajane.

But she didn't forget to glare at Orzel before turning her head away.

"Hmph!"

She didn't move away from him though, since she wanted to listen to what they were talking.

Orzel ignored her and looked at Makarov, just as Makarov looked at him.

'He is quite strong.'

'He is quite short.'

Both were analyzing each other but with different motives.

For Orzel, it didn't matter how strong a person was as they would be dead as long as he wished for it.

That's just how strong he was.

"You must be the one who wanted to join."

"My name is Makarov Dreyar, the guild master here."

Makarov said in a calm and gentle tone.

Even though Makarov was an eccentric old man, he was very kind to his guild mates who he considered a family.

And If Orzel was going to join he would be his family too.

"Hello, my name is Orzel Demonio."

"I was recommended to join Fairy Tail by Gildarts."

"Here is the letter he wrote."

Orzel handed the letter from Gildarts to Makarov who now had his mouth opened wide.

It was not just him, everyone who heard him was shocked senseless.

They couldn't believe that the strongest S-class mage in their guild would actually recommend someone.

It was especially so for Natsu who was eavesdropping on them and Cana who was just by his side.

Natsu wanted to challenge Orzel since he was recommended by Gildarts.

Cana wanted to ask him about Gildarts, since she had been trying to confront him about being his daughter for a long time now.

Makarov who was astonished hurriedly took the letter from Orzel's hands and started reading it. Mirajane who was by his side also peeked at the contents of the letter.

Cana just kept staring at him.

"What? Have you been charmed by my handsomeness?"

Orzel repeated what she had said earlier with a cheeky smile on his face.

Cana who heard him wanted to smash a beer bottle at his face looking at his smile.

"Hmph!"

She just huffed and turned away.

'She is quite cute.'

Orzel was having fun teasing her but didn't say anything since Makarov was finished reading the letter and was looking at him now.

Both him and Mirajane were quite stunned when they read the letter.

"So, can I join?"

"Yes, you are more than qualified to join, I could even make you an S-class immediately, but we still have to keep up traditions."

Mirajane wasn't surprised much when she heard Makarov but it wasn't quite the same for the others who heard him.

Cana was now seeing Orzel in a new light, she didn't expect this annoying man to be an S-class.

But she immediately changed her opinion when she Orzel's teasing grin directed at her.

He was still annoying.

For Natsu, it just fueled his desire to fight him even more.

"I don't need to be an S-class, but can my daughter join too?"

Orzel turned towards Hana who was now playing with Happy.

"Hana, Come here!"

"Yes, daddy!"

Hana who heard Orzel trotted to his side while smiling.

Mirajane and Cana who saw Hana had their eyes lit up.

Makarov also had a smile on his face, he liked playing with kids.

Not in that way.

Orzel picked up Hana in his arms and turned towards them.

"This is my daughter."

"Hana Demonio."

"Yes, Hana is Hana Demonio."

Hana bowed her head and said with a smile, Orzel had already taught her to introduce herself properly.

"Hoho! What a polite young lady you are."

Makarov stroke his moustache and said with a grandfatherly smile.

"Thank you, shorty old man."

Makarov's mouth twitched hearing Hana's words.

Both Cana and Mirajane were laughing making his mouth twitch even more.

"Ahem! So, can she join?"

Orzel tried to disperse the awkward atmosphere and asked trying to change the topic.

"Yes, little Hana can join too."

"Yaay!"

Hana cheered with her hands raised up when she heard she could also join.

Everyone just smiled looking at Hana, and thought she was very cute.

"You both are now official members of Fairy Tail guild."

"Thank you!"

Orzel and Hana said at the same time, even though Orzel was strong he wasn't someone rude and Hana was a polite kid even though she was very honest.

"Alright, Let's get you two your gu-."

"Fight me!!"

Just as MIrajane was about to talk about their guild marks she was interrupted by a shout.

They all looked back to see Natsu Dragneel, who was in his fighting stance bursting with fighting spirit with an excited grin on his face.

He had been waiting for them to finish their talks.

Mirajane was depressed when she saw someone cut her off but let it go soon, since it wasn't in her personality to be angry at someone.

"Sure."

Orzel didn't mind being challenged, since he had expected something like this from the beginning.

He could also use this opportunity to show Hana how strong her dad was.

This made him have a good impression of Natsu.
