Battle of the Monsters

 "Dragia, let's go out. Today we will travel to new places. We will see beautiful scenery. We will play with magical birds and butterflies. We will have a lot of fun today."

 "But where are you going?"

 "That blue hill you can see. Today we will go there. I have not been there before. I wanted to go but my mother did not let me go."

 Xenia showed that mountain in the magic mirror.

 "They won't let me go even today. So how do we go?"

 "Ummm...let me think."

 Xenia is pacing and thinking.  Sometimes she gently pulls the hairs of her head with her fingers and thinks.  Just doing what little kids do.

 "Xenia, you brought another dragon? But why? I am there. Why another dragon?"

 Suddenly Dragia started jumping in fear.  "Who is that if you are here? She looks just like you. What do you want to do? I don't understand anything."

 "By magic I have created images of you and me. We will leave our images here and go for a walk in that beautiful and wonderful mountain. This way the mother will not understand. She will think we are in the palace. How do you like this idea? Tell me?"

 "Very well. But your mother is a fairy. She could easily tell they were fakes if she wanted to."

 "No. Mother will not be so hard. There will be a meeting with the fairies in the palace today. Mother will not doubt us in such busyness."

 Dragia started jumping in excitement.  Then she calmed down and said, "Then why are you late? Let's go."

 "Yes, but one thing. If we want to get out of this palace, we have to disappear. Then we will walk out of the palace and reach our destination."

 Xenia and Dragia disappeared.  And the image of the two of them remained there.  The images of Xenia and Dragia started behaving like the real Xenia and Dragia.  There was no visible difference between the original and the fake.

 Finally they landed on a huge mountain.  The mountain was grey. The upper ground of the hill is home to plants and a variety of birds.  The scenery was wonderful.

 "Dragia, have you ever seen such a beautiful place before? Isn't this place so beautiful? Red and blue trees all around. Like a rainbow. The trees are very tall. And beautiful birds are sitting on their branches. A beautiful forest surrounded by red and blue trees.  Really nice place."

 Dragia ignored Xenia's words.  She happily ran to the wooded area.  Xenia did not notice this. She looks away and talks.  She doesn't know that Dragia is not there.

 "Xenia.... save me. He's come to catch me. She won't let me go back from here."

 As she spoke, Dragia came running from the forest to Xenia.

 "Who wants to catch you? I will kill him. No one can take you from me."

  Ghro...gh...rhhh...

 A giant creature came out of the forest with a loud noise.  Two heads and eight legs. Skin colour is red and black. The combination of red and black makes the animal look very scary.  Looks a lot like a druggie. Actually it's not like a Dragia, it's also a giant monster dragon. Seeing him, Dragia hid behind Xenia in fear.

 "Where are you running to? I like you. I want you."

 That is why the monster started moving forward.

 "Wait. If you want to take Dragia, you have to fight me first."

 Ha! ha! ha!

 "Okay. But take this."

 The monster shot out a terrible fireball from its mouth and threw it at Xenia.  Xenia jumped away. The fire fell on a tree. Immediately the tree was burnt to ashes.  She fired again. This time, two shots were fired from both mouths. Xenia held out her wand.  Immediately, water started coming out of the stick in a steady stream. Magic water extinguished the fire.  Xenia struck before the dragon could prepare. Lightning from Xenia's magic wand fell on the monster's tail.  Immediately the tail burst open.

 Attack after attack continued between the two.  This war between them continued for a long time.

 "I can't defeat that monster like this. I have to use super magic."

 Xenia closed her eyes.  Then when she opened her eyes, terrible fire came out of her eyes and fell on the monster's head.  The huge body fell on the ground due to the fire.

 Dragia was overjoyed.  Xenia's eyes also brightened.  Because this was her first fight.  That too against a very powerful and terrifying monster.

 "I'm so glad to have won the battle. Come on Dragia. I'm tired. Let's go down and get some rest."

 Xenia and Dragia came down.

 A beautiful stream of water is coming down from the top of the hill.  Next to it is a tree that is small in height but huge in size.

Xenia spread her wings and sat on a branch of that tree.  But Dragia could not go. Because she is still very young.  She can't fly.

"Xenia, take me with you too. I'm afraid to be alone here."

Xenia held her wand at Dragia. Immediately she began to fly and reached Xenia.

Xenia closed her eyes, resting her head on a tree branch. After a while she fell asleep.

"Xenia, open your eyes. I hear a noise of some kind. Get up quickly. I am very afraid."

Xenia opened her eyes and said, "What happened? Why are you calling me?"

"Shut up and listen. There's a strange noise."

Ha! Ha! Ha!

"That's the sound of the water in the shower. You're just afraid. I'm here. Why worry? You'll be fine."

Xenia came down from the tree, taking Dragia with her. Just like a beautiful species came down from the tree.
