"Hey, has the Young Master finally calmed down?"

Tristan asked Noel, rather everyone was curious, they were finally returning a bit later than expected after two more weeks of subjugating only goblins and orcs near the area.

They all looked at Noel as if he was the savior of their current plight

"He is fast asleep in the carriage."

They all heaved a sigh of relief as they couldn't keep up with their Young Master's abnormally high energy of hunting green skinned creatures.

"Even I who was at the front lines can't keep fighting and hunting those wretches for two weeks straight."

Gale told everyone, they all nodded, they wondered how the Young Master did it, but what they didn't know was that he had a system helping him power through the hunt.

"I guess we all should refrain from saying those words right?"

They all laughed wryly after hearing Aaron's remarks, if they had said there was a goblin sighting right now they could imagine their Young Master Alfred suddenly waking up and take another week to kill every Green skinned creature in the area.

What they didn't know was that the system was taking down their conversation for Alfred to listen and read to later on as it was also tasked to do it after Alfred learned of its feature.

"My son is back."

My Mother, Alexis greeted me and hugged me, I hugged her back, she just looked at me and nodded, I followed after her.

"How have you been?"

"I've been well mother."

"I see, while you were absent the Princess took it upon herself to play with your siblings while you were away."

"She didn't tell me in the letters?"

I did not expect for her to that, I guess being the only child does have its own cons.

"A woman does not need to tell you everything she has to do, same for you, there are times when you have to keep secrets for yourself."

My mother smiled at me.

"Does that mean father has any other women?"

"No, if he did he would have been long dead to me."

This time my mother gave me a creepy smile, something that I've seen a lot whenever I did something that would displease her when I was young.

"Ah yes, I forgot, did you place tracking magic on me?"

"Did I?"

She didn't say anything as she had escorted me to my fathers office, she just laughed and left me.

"I'm here."

"Come in."

As I entered I saw my father do some sword stances from the family's style, after waiting for a while and feeling his power he finally stopped.

"What is it that you wished to report that you'd rather see me first than your siblings."

"I have made contact with the Elves."

"So?"

He seems rather uninterested and perhaps wasn't that at all surprised.

"Their King wants to meet up with the Emperor for a negotiation, something like an alliance."

"Now that is more interesting, tell me more."

I recounted everything to father from meeting to Seori, but I omitted some facts about Seori, after I was done.

"Great, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, I'll contact the Emperor."

My father said as he was wearing his coat again, it was chilly this time of the year.

"Why aren't you leaving? Do you still have a question Alfred?"

"Father, why does our techniques differ from the East?"

"Just that? If you're worried about me letting you learn their techniques I'm not that angry, rather its interesting to me."

I had asked father this and his reply made me give a sigh in relief.

"How so?"

"As you know if I was young again I'd learn their techniques as well to get my body stronger, though our Aura already does that but theirs is different, it is well refined."

I nodded and didn't say, we then went out and I continued on following him.

"But do you know what the main difference is and why I didn't go that route?"

"What is it?"

"Its that while their Aura or what they call Inner Energy from what I've read, its contained within the body, ours is that we don't contain it and contaminate it with the elements thus the difference and why their sword techniques are at the apex."

He then stopped and looked at me.

"As to which style is better, I don't know we've never been in a war against them, but you, You're far more interesting, while its good to have their techniques but so far of what I've looted they all were inferior and would be detrimental."

He grabbed my shoulder and patted my back.

"Yours however, I can feel its a top tier technique or cultivation, continue working hard and let me see the fruits of your labor."

He said as he left, me, of course that was a given with my Cultivation technique as well as the amount of spells I can get its only a matter of time.

"Father! Spar with me!"

As soon as I said that he stopped again and looked at me, this time he unleased his pressure and I was suffocating so hard that I kneeled.

"Even if I control my power, I could accidentally cut half of you, train hard until you can withstand this kind of pressure so when we cross sword, I'll know your arm won't be flying at the least."

Damn, was that my father's power?

I was suddenly released and Noel immediately arrived.

"I think I should get some more rest before I train."
