Chapter 21

Frustration was an understatement for me. The rest of my week was terrible, I couldn't sleep, work, eat or even talk to anyone. I was guilty. Very guilty. Maybe Cass was right, this selfish side of me that always wants to make the decision on behalf of everyone can end up chasing everyone away. It would kill me if mom gets angry as Cass did, it's just hard for me, I haven't really processed this situation myself let alone explain it to anyone. Hmph what a life.

Lily came over today to 'hang out' as she said but I very well know she came to check on me, I knew she was worried about me.

She made dinner and after eating she decided we watch a movie together then we got to talking and laughing as usual.

"Thanks Lily for coming over today I really needed the company"

"Aww no need to thank me Tina, you know I'll always have your back" she said giving me an assuring smile.

"Yeah...how's Luke by the way?"
