Author's Point Of View

Jackson's life was a mess in the previous chapter. Maria breaks her promise not to warn anyone about their sex tape incident, which exposes his past. Maria, on the other side, wants him to come back as an actor, even though he refuses. In the present, his parents ask him to fulfill Maria's desire. What's next?

"Dad, mom... I've just retired recently. But why did you keep begging me to come back? While I'm sure that my fans want me to come back, I'm not interested in doing so. If Maria had promised me a bigger return than hers, I would have declined her invitation to return.", Jackson was upset by his parents' request.

"The fact is that we all know this, son. We still, though, need a choice to choose from, as your recent news has already shown. Whatever happened with the sex tape being exposed to us.", Jackson was informed of his thinking by his father.

As Jackson wiped away tears from his face, he said, "Then she breaks her promise."

In the bedroom, Jackson is sitting on his bed while his parents look at him as if he wants help from them. Hugging their only son, his parents sit beside him. Jackson believes that his life has been ruined. This is the first time since he retired from the entertainment industry that he has caused controversy. Then, his cell phone blares loud, signaling that Holly has reached him via text message.

"Can you guys leave now? I need to call my friend, she needs my help."

What he's saying is acknowledged by his parents, "That's OK. As soon as you've finished talking to your friend, please stop by our room. We continued our conversation from there."

Jackson nods his head in agreement "Thank you. I can expect a visit from you guys as soon I finished with my call."

In response, Jackson phones Holly back as his parents exit his room.

Please pick up my call, Holly…

Clack.

"Hello?", There's a young girl's voice.

"Hello, is this Holly?"

"Who is this?"

"It's me, Jackson."

"Jackson?"

Huh? What is the case with this girl?

"Who's this?"

Has she lost her memory?

"I'm Holly's mother, and she's asleep."

Oh my goodness, that's a nightmare.

"It was a misunderstanding, and I'm sorry. Can you tell her if she wakes that her friend, Jackson calls her?"

"Wait."

"Hm?"

"Are you her boyfriend?"

What?

"No, no. I'm not her boyfriend."

"That was true, isn't it? You and Holly are a lovely couple."

"Ahh… Okay? Miss Ferguson, thank you for letting me know about this."

"Son, you're welcome. You're welcome to come to the house if you want."

Because he had spoken with Holly's mother, Jackson was embarrassed by Holly's first call. Jackson's face is red right now since he was ashamed to talk to one of his friend's parents. His parents' room was next to his thoughts. After he switches off his phone, he leaves his room and walks out into the room.

When he gets to his parent's room, he knocks on the door with ease.

"Are you there?"

"Come in, son," Mom yells at Jackson.

In response to his parents' request, Jackson opens the door and discovers them sitting on the bed.

In his parents' bedroom, Jackson is sitting on his parents' bed, scared because he doesn't sure what he should do when Maria ties his parents together. A tape was playing on their television, and it was his first commercial audition. That brings back memories for Jackson because when he went to his first audition, his parents and Maria were there to watch and encourage him. At that moment, Jackson's expression became liberated for the first time.

"Jackson, please remain calm in front of the camera," Maria instructed Jackson.

There, Maria gently encourages Jackson to be himself by showing him how to act organically and without restraint. Even though Jackson is a newbie, his family encouraged him to overcome his fear and act normally in front of the camera. As a result, the outcome was a success.

Jackson's first ad had them excited. Jackson can't believe that he's on television. He's shocked.

"You had to be kidding me, right? Now I'm going to be on TV!!!!", Jackson had much pride in what he did in the ad.

"You made it, kiddo," Maria stroked his shoulder.

"Thanks a lot, Director."

They have a good time together.

Mom said, "Isn't that a long time?"

"Yes, it's been a long time."

Now...Jackson reflects on his past He'll have to face the press and get mixed reactions from his supporters to achieve success. In the end, he won't back down, no matter what kind of assault he receives. At the very least, he has a friend who still believes in him. If a reporter asks him about his controversial statement, he should be prepared with an answer.
