6 Pincered

In a single second, Ji Chen had transported Mu Lu and himself from the First Heaven all the way to the Eight Heaven! This was quadrillions of Miles!

Mu Lu looked at Ji Chen with shock:

"You're a Divine?"

Though Ji Chen was having a headache and severe pain was gushing through his limbs, he could hear what Mu Lu had asked.

"A Divine?"

Ji Chen stared at Mu Lu with a disdainful look:

"How would this mighty lord be so insignificant to be a mere Divine? I am a Peak Divine... Owww.. owww."

"..."

Ji Chen started off strong, but as the pain got stronger, he could only be subdued by the pain. Mu Lu was very shocked with what Ji Chen had just said.

The heavens weren't one. You could never combine the heavens. But there was always something beyond the peak. Divinity came when the Multiverse had accepted your existence in the Heavens as 'precious'. It would take millions of years before one surpassed Sky God. The difference between Earth God and Sky God was massive. Sky God could have an average lifespan of around 20,000 while Sky God could have a whole million! It required talent and luck to surpass Sky God. Millions of years were not something that even Sky Gods had. A sixteen-year-old becoming a Divine was simply insane!

Mu Lu knew it wasn't his moment to say anything, he had experienced the pain that Ji Chen had experienced too, he almost went crazy even if it only lasted ten minutes.

Mu Lu looked around. He saw that the place that Ji Chen had brought them to was a forest. It seemed that he was also in the middle of it.

He was disdainful that he had landed in such a predicament. He was now only a Heaven's Passage Realm.

In the Eighth Heaven, this was more than enough to enjoy the treatment of a noble. Mu Lu didn't care about such things, but he did still have that faint addiction to get into fights.

He shook his head and turned to glance to Ji Chen. He was already unconscious. Since Ji Chen had saved him from death, he wasn't one to be ungrateful. He picked him up, but before he did, he put the Emerald Ring on his ring finger to disguise him. This was a power constraint. It made energy around a hundred thousand to a million times harder to control and channel Qi. This causes the bloodline evolution to devolve until it makes it seem as if the other party is a mortal.

He needed a disguise as well. As he was in a bad position standing in this forest, he took at a robe from his space storage.

Mu Lu had knowledge that he had accumulated from reading for countless years. He knew that this place was the most dangerous forest in the Eighth Heaven, Qingshu Forest. It was known for its poisonous herbs and dangerous inhabitants that had a tendency to be rude and ruthless to travellers.

"Looks like this guy has truly made me have a love-hate relationship with him. Couldn't tolerate it a bit more and get us somewhere safer?"

Mu Lu was grateful for taking away that evil thing that had been 'infesting' in his body for a long time. Ji Chen had also spared him from death which would he would've accompanied if not for Ji Chen's runaway tactic. Though things seemed perfect, his personality was quite chatty and he likes to ramble on about stupid things.

"Looks like its time to find a way out of this place."

Mu Lu wasn't an idiot. He knew that the sky was inhabited by demonic beasts that specialise in hunting dumb and idiotic creatures that were stupid enough to use Qi to fly.

He had started to look around for five minutes or more before he heard a beast's roar of fury:

"Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!"

Mu Lu wanted to retreat, but he soon realised that he was pincered between a battle of two peak Heaven's Passage Beasts. The Heaven series had three stages before Demi-God, they were Heaven's Passage, Gate and Entrance.

Mu Lu's Cultivation Realm was at Heaven's Passage, but there was a problem. His current condition was a mess. He had fought with Ji Chen with all he had. He didn't spare an ounce of Qi. It was all for the System to say that he had failed at achieving his ultimatum.

Even if he was at his peak condition, with his current realm, he wouldn't even be able to put a scratch on these beasts. Demonic Beasts were usually stronger than their current realm. If it was an Early Heaven's Passage, it could take on someone at Mid Heaven's Passage. The difference may seem small, but a Mid Heaven's Passage could simply wave his finger and defeat an Early Heaven's Passage.

Each Realm had 9 layers. Mu Lu's combat experience told him that these Demonic Beasts were beyond the 9th Realm of Heaven's Passage. He concluded they must be at the peak of Heaven's Passage.

"Dumb beasts! If I had my actual realm, I would eradicate the whole 9 generations of your family!"

Mu Lu decided to hide in a tree. It was the safest thing to do. Once Ji Chen had woke up, he could easily clear this mess up.

"HAHAHAHA! It has finally come to this. Hasn't it, Tiger King Supreme?"

A beast that looked like a large Gorilla said. The height of the Gorilla was at least 30m! Each finger it had was the size of a metre!

"Monkey King Supreme, you have just turned into a Supreme, are you sure you want to face against me?"

Standing off against the large Gorilla, was a large Tiger that had many scars on the skin, which was visible through its white fur. The Tiger had white, fluffy fur and glistening yellow eyes.

"Though I have only turned into a Supreme of the forest, I have more than enough strength to contend against you! I will get revenge for my grandchild!"

With that being said, the Large Gorilla started to run towards the Large Tiger. Each step that landed on the ground made it seem as if the world had trembled. The strength of these two Beasts was ungodly.

The Gorilla's punched toward the Tiger's head.

Surprisingly, the Tiger didn't move at all. It seemed as if the Tiger already knew that the Gorilla wasn't strong enough to take him down.

When the punch landed, a gust of energy destroyed the surroundings.

"Impossible..."

The Gorilla clutched the hand he had used to hit the Tiger. It was in pain.

The Tiger sneered as he looked at the Gorilla with disdain:

"The last few times I fought you, I told you that I was holding back."

The Gorilla could tell that his hand had been dislocated. His forehead had been covered in sweat as he heard what the Tiger had sneered:

"Wasn't I the one who put those scars on you? It's impossible! How has your skin turned so hard all of a sudden?"

The Tiger didn't respond. He used his paws to send the Gorilla flying.

"It seems, that we have company."

He looked towards a tree and intriguingly said.
