(Willis)"We will let the demons in the community, all traffic henceforth outside must be regulated by the security team. All followers of this religious movement are banned, preaching it is banned and discrimination is a crime against demons."

He took laws from his last world in handling minority groups that were persecuted, he made it illegal first for this terrorist group to enter the town. Then made them protected by law, it would stop any random attacks. It was clear this situation wasn't going to end soon so he was making the town ready for a long conflict.

(Local carpenter)"But the town can't expand if we do that, we would be limited populace wise at our current ten thousand."

(Local smith)"Does expansion have to cost our lives, think about what you said."

He wasn't a greedy man, but he was a stability lover. He enjoyed walking the town and helping people with the security team, he didn't want religious extremist blowing themself up like the middle east in his town. Being a war veteran from the US, he knew how to handle extremists and their stupid believers.

"Wait, I know the solution to future expansion."

A young man spoke out, he got their attention.

(Young man)"We spread the world to all the demons we are a safe haven, that way we get more populace and we don't get any extremist here either. We can make it law only demons are allowed free entry into the city, we can lure them in with refugee care here even."

They nodded and agreed to his plan, the elder didn't say anything but was ecstatic from it all.

(Willis)"That settles it, we must open the gates."

The elder ran back to the grand church and informed them all, fifty followers came with him and they went to the gate. Willis and the security team already let them in the wall, were offering blankets and letting some indoors.

(Follower)"We got about a hundred, they seem to all be vampires. Many are burnt on their body from walking in the sunlight, we had a few succubus as they call themself in their group."

Andrew went up to a small blanket covering one of them, and saw a young girl who was shivering with half of her face displaying the bone that was supposed to be under it. It was clearly a vampire who had been burned, he put another blanket over her and his arm into the hole she had in it.

(Andrew)"It's alright, we won't hurt you."

He was speaking softly while leaning over her, she held onto his arm and he softly patted the blanket. The other followers were covering them up more, or trying to find shade for them. The security team listened to them for advice with Willis and the elder leading everyone.

When he tried to pull his arm back out, she kept it tight, stopping him.

(Girl)"Stay."

He didn't know what to say to her, so he displayed a dismayed expression to his buddies. They laughed at him, and kept working.

(Andrew)"Alright, I can use a break. So do you mind talking with me?"

(Girl)"There is nothing to talk about."

He scratched his cheek at the comment, it was tired and exhausted like a weary traveler who just wanted to rest.
