The economy isan ecosystem that made the rich richer and the poor busy.

It did not matter what you did, that was the way the world was structured and there was no changing it.

This was a truth that he had learned early on. There was no fairness or any of that crap.

He had seen people abandoned and in worse circumstances than he was, and the people who could help them, the people who were supposed to help them, did nothing.

Even if they did, there was a limit and conditions attached.

It was foolish to think that the system was in place to help the poor, or to distribute resources equally. If you have no value, even the little you deserve to have is taken away.

And Lu Fan was fine with that. That was how it was supposed to be.

The world works on survival of the fittest, and that has never changed. What changed was the method and type of war.
