I arrived at the roof where G had built a little shack with the water collector system as a base. I started cleaning my face, I took my shirt and check the wound… the stitched looked horrible. I cleaned the wound and left it like that.

I heard something behind, and Isabella's voice came to me.

"Spencer? I brought you clothes."

"Come in."

Isabella came in and saw the wound on my arm.

"Is that a gunshot?"

"Yeah, the funny part is that it was done with my own handgun."

"Those stitches look awful. Do you want me to take them off and do it again?"

"You can do it?"

"I used to be a nurse at the clinic, but since my husband earned enough to live well I decided to resign and use all my time with Dana."

"I would be grateful, I'll go down in a bit."

"Take your time, you will have it rough when you go down."

"I know…"

"No you don't, Gerhard and Hayley were really pissed when Rose came last night and told us that you were going to infiltrate into Jamie's mansion, and with that wound Hope too."

"Hope was ok with what I was going to do?"

"I wouldn't say ok, but she wasn't surprised, she said that you were always a reckless idiot so as long as you come back safe and sound, it was ok."

"I'm going to take my time then, thanks for the heads up by the way."

"No problem I leave you to relax while you can. After you are done tell me, so I can change your stitches."

She left after that short conversation, and under her recommendation, I took my time and got cleaned, It would probably take me a while to get off the blood and other things on me anyway.

I went downstairs and looked for Isabella she has the first aid kit with her, and as soon as she saw me, she started to work.

Carefully she took off the stitches I made and cleaned the wound, Rose came in looking for me and noticed that Isabella was helping with the injury. She has already seen the poor work I made stitching the gunshot, and she stayed there.

Even if she was mad at me, I knew that she was worried because of the wound and the things I have been doing lately.

Thanks to the upgrade of Astral Link we both receive two new abilities.

Share thoughts allow us to share everything that is going on in our minds, this has to be activated but it's impressive, I already used it before.

Empathy was even more amazing and scary at the same time. First empathy was active all the time, and it helps to have a general understanding of the partner situation, for example right now, Rose it's mad at me, but the most important feelings right now are fear and concern.

My recent actions made her scared of me keep doing stupid things and that she was going to lost me.

Isabella finished cleaning my wound and started to put the stitches on it, the results were much better than when I did it myself, she bandaged it to protect it. She also put an ointment on the wound that should help me heal faster.

"I know that you are not going to listen to this… but you should take care of your wound and wait at least two weeks before doing any activity."

She was right. Two weeks? That's the same amount of time that has passed since the meteor shower, and already a lot of things have happened, even if I wanted to rest it was almost impossible.

I tried to check on the store to see if there was something else, but besides some healing ointment that is also available on the regular market, there was no heal potion or something like that. I asked about the other healing ointments to Isabella, but she told me that all of them were about the same as the one we used.

Finally, Isabella finished and clean everything and left, leaving us alone.
