Kai went back to the system shop and found the skill he was interested in. While Kai was looking for the taming skill, he saw a skill the piqued his interest. but he decided to get the taming skill and decided to save for the other skill. Kai happened to be lucky enough to get 1000 shop points.

When the host is attacking, he will be able to see his opponent's weak spots from a trail of blue waves. When the host is getting attacked, he will be able to see where the attack is going to land. the stronger the host opponent is the less effective the skill becomes.

Kai ended buying the skill, but he ended up with no more shop points left but that skill was way to useful not to get. And since this skill was a passive skill, it required little to no mana.

After Kai bought the skill, he just sat there and stared at Lyker eating his meal. After Lyker ate all the meat of the crocodile Lyker pulled out a glowing but dim small orb from the crocodile.

"Oh, a mana core"

Kai stared at the mana core but before he could stare at it more Lyker picked it up and swallowed it quickly. Lyker made a face full of pleasure once he swallowed The Mana core.

Kai wasn't that disappointed he really had no use for a mana core sure Mana cores had a lot of uses and stuff, but he couldn't do much with them. he could've also sold them, but he already had money from his Rich background. And it also took way too much time to look and to find a marble sized core also Kai also had no experience with dissecting creatures in the first place which made it even harder to find cores.

It was getting dark outside and decided to make camp in the cave. Kai put up his tent and tried to go inside and he opened the tent entrance but before kai was able to get in Lyker waddled chirping making an adorable sound laid down inside. Kai thought Lyker action were adorable and went to lay down next to.

Today was a really exhausting day for Kai and in a couple of seconds he went to sleep next to Lyker.

[1 week later]

Kai started to pack up his things and since the academy started tomorrow. After Kai finished packing up he called Lyker.

'Lyker it time go.'

'Coming Pa.'

A blue phoenix with 3 tails came a sat-on Kai shoulder. In this past week Lyker has gotten significantly bigger and smarter as well. Now Lyker is now able to say simple sentences now, Kai started to go back to the wasteland. When Lyker learned to speak he started calling Kai Pa. Kai just thinks he calls him pa because he sees him as a father figure or something, but kai doesn't really dwell on it.

Some Monters that tried to approach kai, but Kai learned a nifty trick of releasing pressure, so He just released his D rank pressure which frightened any beast in this area which were all either E or F rank.

When Kai reached the garage, He took his motorcycle and got ready to drive off Kai put Lyker in his shirt. Kai started to drive off towards the gate when kai reached the gate. The guards asked him to go through the normal procedures allowing him to enter the gate, Kai kept Lyker in his shirt so the procedures could go by faster.

When Kai entered the gate he saw mark waiting for him next to the car. Kai greeted Mark and quickly entered the vehicle Kai let Lyker out of his shirt.

'Pa who is that person.'

'He is my butler so like my personal helper'

'Oh I understand.'

When Mark entered the vehicle, he asked.

"Young master have you perhaps tamed a beast."

The car Mark and Kai were driving had a black mirror the blocked them from seeing each other.

"What makes you ask that?"

"I sensed something when we greeted each other I felt a monstrous presence coming from inside your shirt, so I assumed that you were able to tame a beast and you were just trying to hide it."

"Well, your assumption was right I got really lucky and tamed a beast with a lot of potential."

"May I ask what beast you have tamed."

"You'll see when We are at the villa."

"Ok young master"

two of Lyker tails started shining and 2 of the tails turned Making him only having 1 tail

'Done.'

'Good job'

After getting praised Lyker had a pleased. when Lyker and kai were in the forest Lyker had awakened a new skill that made him able to hide his tails. this skill would be really useful to Kai because he could be able to hide the fact that Lyker was a full breed phoenix.

If an infant bird beast is born with more than 2 tails means they are a full breed phoenix if a bird beast has 1 tail that means they are a half breed phoenix. If the bird beast has no tails at all they are normal bird beast with no phoenix bloodline residing in them.

Some phoenixes are born with a unique skill that make them able to hide the number of tails they show. Some of them use it to lower the guard of their opponents but Kai is going to use it to conceal the fact that the event got a legendary beast as his pet.

The academy has already done a pretty good job of hiding the fact that he was a human blessed by a God from the media. But even kai knows that it's not going to last forever he is planning on showing the world everything he has when he is so strong that no one will be a threat to him.

When kai arrived at the villa Lyker hopped on his shoulder Mark got out at the same time kai got out of the car.

"Congrats young master on getting a water type magical beast."

"Thanks, I'll be heading off to my room now."

"Ok young master have a good rest for your big day tomorrow."

Kai gave a nod to ark and headed towards his room. When Kai entered the room, he Went to the bathroom and took a long and refreshing shower.

"It's been a week sense I took such a nice shower."

After Kai finished showering, he took Lyker and cleaned him up to at first Lyker tried protested the idea but when he felt the warm water, he soon became comfortable and enjoyed the experience.

After getting all cleaned up Lyker Kai and Lyker went to bed and fell asleep.
