Extra And MC

One Hero Is Not Enough To Save The World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amael, the hero, singlehandedly wiped out more than half of the entire demon race all on his own and even won against the demon king. This should have put him at ease but unfortunately for the human race, the demon king and his race were fated to come back to life again after thousands of years, just like it's always been. "You may have won this time Amael, but the next time, there'll be no one as powerful enough as you to save this world" the demon king cackled with a malicious laughter as he faded away. "This is only a temporary peace..." "Very well then... If this is what I must do to completely eradicate them, then I will" Amael then made a decision. A decision he had hoped would ensure the safety of the future for generations to come. _________________________________________________________________ "We were supposed to be dead, but when we both woke up, we found ourselves in this new world... a world that was all too familiar to both of us" _________________________________________________________________ Author Note: The first few chapters (Around 20 chaps) will be written in 1st person POV but after the introduction of more characters, I will seamlessly switch to the third person POV. Also, as you might've noticed, there will be two male leads. I really hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Monsters

Yes, typical I know, but that's what makes it easier to digest right.

Anyway, although monsters are a part of this world due to their mutation from mana, fissures (also known as gates, portals, dungeons e.t.c from so many other novels/manhwa/ light novels you may have read) began to appear around the time mana also came to this world.

If the fissures were not cleared in due time, monsters would grow strong enough in the space created by the fissures and after feeling that they were strong enough, they would make their way out of it and begin to wreak havoc and chaos. As a result, various guilds were created to accommodate rankers who were periodically and frequently tasked with clearing out the fissures.

From it, monsters that were killed were able to provide raw materials which are then used to make various types of equipment, weapons, e.t.c This in turn provides a rich and stable source of income to whomever is ready to risk their lives and clear out as many fissures as they can.

The first volume of my novel may not really touch on it all that much because it's really just a setup for the world itself but it definitely will be crucial to some aspects of my story and will even be used quite a lot in the second volume (I pray to God that I'm able to motivate myself that far) and even the later ones.
