Extra And MC

One Hero Is Not Enough To Save The World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amael, the hero, singlehandedly wiped out more than half of the entire demon race all on his own and even won against the demon king. This should have put him at ease but unfortunately for the human race, the demon king and his race were fated to come back to life again after thousands of years, just like it's always been. "You may have won this time Amael, but the next time, there'll be no one as powerful enough as you to save this world" the demon king cackled with a malicious laughter as he faded away. "This is only a temporary peace..." "Very well then... If this is what I must do to completely eradicate them, then I will" Amael then made a decision. A decision he had hoped would ensure the safety of the future for generations to come. _________________________________________________________________ "We were supposed to be dead, but when we both woke up, we found ourselves in this new world... a world that was all too familiar to both of us" _________________________________________________________________ Author Note: The first few chapters (Around 20 chaps) will be written in 1st person POV but after the introduction of more characters, I will seamlessly switch to the third person POV. Also, as you might've noticed, there will be two male leads. I really hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Chapter 126 - Turning Gears

"Let's compile the major information we now know" Flynn said to his brother while sitting across him from the small, round, patio table.

"Yeah. We should" Aiden replied with an affirmative nod, his hands pouring the contents of a bottle of non-alcoholic wine into two glass cups.

Having returned from Sigrun's bookstore, both brothers had met up with their partners and friends once again and had tried their best to enjoy the festivities with them the best they could.

But that was easier said than done because at the end of the day, there was so much pivotal information that was revealed to them in just a matter of minutes.

It was only natural that their minds were occupied with that instead of actually blending in and having fun with the others.

But at the very least, they had been sure that since they had only been gone for a very short while, it wouldn't have aroused any suspicions from either their partners or friends.
