Extra And MC

One Hero Is Not Enough To Save The World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amael, the hero, singlehandedly wiped out more than half of the entire demon race all on his own and even won against the demon king. This should have put him at ease but unfortunately for the human race, the demon king and his race were fated to come back to life again after thousands of years, just like it's always been. "You may have won this time Amael, but the next time, there'll be no one as powerful enough as you to save this world" the demon king cackled with a malicious laughter as he faded away. "This is only a temporary peace..." "Very well then... If this is what I must do to completely eradicate them, then I will" Amael then made a decision. A decision he had hoped would ensure the safety of the future for generations to come. _________________________________________________________________ "We were supposed to be dead, but when we both woke up, we found ourselves in this new world... a world that was all too familiar to both of us" _________________________________________________________________ Author Note: The first few chapters (Around 20 chaps) will be written in 1st person POV but after the introduction of more characters, I will seamlessly switch to the third person POV. Also, as you might've noticed, there will be two male leads. I really hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Chapter 112 - Award Ceremony Banquet II

(A few minutes before Flynn met up with Ivelia, Aiden and Caroline…)

"What do you want Lucas?" Flynn calmly asked the blondie while checking the time on his wristwatch as they trailed far behind the others.

"I…" the youth began and then paused almost immediately, a slight frown gracing his features.

Thinking to himself a few times, Lucas pondered upon what would be the best approach to what he needed to say.

He knew for a fact, especially now, after he had found out the reasoning behind the fact that Flynn always looked at him with confusion every time he and him had a scuffle, that the youth clearly was not interested in apologies.

'Looking back on it, I should have realized that something was off since he always seemed to find my antics a bit childish, even way before he started to return to his old self…' Lucas pondered to himself as Flynn properly turned around to face him.
