Revelation and decision

After putting Maria into bed Zayn and Ella went to the roof of the house to have a discussion. There were some things that Zayn needed to clear up and he also needed to tell Ella about the life that she was stepping into.

The house was a single story house which was not that big in size. It had three rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a store room which was present at the right side of the entrance of the house. And right next to the store room was a stairway leading to the rooftop.

As soon as they arrived on the roof Zayn went to the railing which spread across the corner of the roof and placed his hands on the railing and puffed out a cloud of steam from his mouth. It was not that he used to smoke but the temperature outside was so low that the breath coming out of the mouth turned into steam.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Ella spoke softly which standing next to him and putting her back and leaning against the railing.

"I actually don't know where to start?" He replied while trying to contemplate whether her decision to let her stay was correct or was letting her know a mistake. It was not that he didn't trust her, rather it was the complete opposite, she was the one person in the world he could share his worries to or rather confide in. "Well, actually let's start at the beginning.The actual truth of the current world that we are living in that is."

"The beginning?" She asked confusingly.

"Yes" he replied."Now, look in to my eyes"As he said this his eyes glistened with a bright red and Ella began to feel like she was falling in a bottomless pit. Everywhere she looked she could see pitch black darkness and if she looked down she couldn't see the end to the pit she was falling into.

A few moments later she opened her eyes in the real world and a series of information ran thought her head like a horde of wild beasts rampaging about.Most of the information she received was what she knew about before but some of it was something that she didn't expect to ever know. Something that she couldn't understand no matter how hard she tried. But if there was one thing that she was certain of, was that whatever that was,made her weary and she didn't want what she saw to happen.

On this revelation, her eyes widened and a sense of fear overwhelmed her which was clearly visible on her face. At this point, she didn't know what to say, a wide series of thoughts were running through her mind as she tried to figure out what she had just saw. But for the third time, she had failed.

"Still up for it?" Zayn blatantly asked her while he walked past her and started to make his way towards the door that lead downstairs. As soon as he walked past her he closed his eyes and released a puff of steam from his mouth again."Guess not huh?" He said as he stopped for a second and then again started walking towards the door.

"Wait a minute" she said in a low voice while her eyes remained widened as she continued to stare at the ground, she then crouched down on the ground and moved her hands and placed them on her head which showed that she was still trying to process the information.

"Hm" he turned around to look at her again. Ella closed her eyes, took in a deep breath and opened her eyes as she exhaled but due to the low temperature her breath also came out as a puff of steam. Then she stood up and started to approach him.

When she was right Infront of him she put one of her hands on his should and said " I'll do it"

"Are you sure" he questioned her in a manner which would force any normal person to rethink their decision but Ella had already strengthened her resolve.

On hearing this a soft smile appeared across her face which only added to her beauty as she spoke softly " To be honest the mess you are caught up in is a grave one, I would've rejected anyone under these circumstances, well anyone other than you that is. I've already lost you once and it broke my heart and honestly I can't bear to lose you twice. I will always be there with you no matter who you are or what you did. It doesn't matter to me honestly, to me you are the Zayn that I knew and nothing is going to change that"

"You're too persistent sometime you know that" he stated as he closed his eyes in a specific manner and sighed which indicated that he had given in to her persistence."Let's go then" he said as he gently removed her hand from his shoulder, turned around and started to walk towards the door again.

'Dont worry I'm definitely not letting you get away this time' she thought as she proceeded to follow him.
