What The Hell?!

Evian looked at the shrine in front of him with an unbelieving expression.

"How the hell this thing just spawned here out of nowhere?"

He clearly remembered that yesterday when he came, this shrine was not here. This secluded ground outside the village was his sacred training place.

He was a local farmer in his village and a week ago while hoeing Village Cheif's farm he found a tattered cultivation manual by accident. After that, he thought his life would change.

To secure the cultivation manual he quickly came to this place and buried the manual under the rhino three that was used to be here.

The manual was very tough to understand and it took him days to memorise the book.

However, today he came here to retrieve the manual and wanted to burn it down so that no one could find his secret.

But before he could do so, he found out that the place he buried the manual was now actually covered by this big and gloomy shrine.

"What is the meaning of this? How the hell can this be built here in just one day?" There were a lot of questions with no answers in Evian's head.

After some time he let out a dejected sigh and then a slight smile formed on his face. "At least I memorised the manual, or it would have been a huge blow to my luck."

Then even a wider smile formed on his face, "I can already feel some Qi in my body after last night's practice."

"Let me leave this place first, so nobody notices me here. Even if the builder of this shrine finds that book, at least I still have memories of the formula." He quickly backed up and started to leave the place.

However, before he could move even a step ahead he heard a loud bang that deafened his ears and a bright red light covered his whole consciousness.

With a severe headache, he lost consciousness. And while he was unconscious the shrine disappeared and the big rhino tree appeared again on the empty ground.

Only after a few hours, his eyelids parted, while huffing he quickly woke up from his stupor, like he has seen a bad dream. "What was that explosion? It destroyed the whole universe!"

He looked around crazily with wide eyes. "Am I in the afterlife?" However, soon he realised that what he has just seen was a dream.

He stood up and found that the Shrine that he previously saw also disappeared from the ground. "So was I hallucinating all along? Am I going mad?"

Shivers ran down his spine as he thought about it. "Was it because of that cultivation manual? Maybe it had some kind of curse in it!" Tears were about to fall from his eyes.

He has just cultivated a little bit of Qi the previous night and now he was hallucinating, it indicated to him that the manual was defective.

Gulping his saliva he took in a deep breath. "I have to go and tell about that manual to Village Cheif, or I may even go completely insane."

Village Chief and his children were the only people in the village that knew how to cultivate Qi, It has been said that Village Chief was hiding in this remote village from some enemies and he was a lot older than he looked.

He also had two kids after he married the daughter of the previous Village Chief. Both of his kids were boys, the older one was about eighteen years old, the same age as Evian, his name was Fin.

And the younger one was thirteen years old, his name was Klem.

Both of them were adept in martial arts, Fin was a Grade Three martial artist while Klem was a grade two, both of them were extremely powerful.

And Village Cheif on the other hand, no one knew what his previous Grade was before he came to this Village injured.

However, currently, he was a Grade Five martial artist. Making him the most powerful man in the surrounding seven Villages.

Only people from the Capital of Illiangam and Big cities could compare to him.

Evian was an orphan, that worked for Village Cheif as a farmer, in exchange, Village Chief provided him food, shelter and little money.

As he was about to move he suddenly stopped. "What if village chief or his kids were the ones that accidentally lost the manual? They would definitely think that I was the one that stole it."

Suddenly a huge Delima filled his brain and couldn't understand what he should do. However, before he could think anymore a foreign sound resounded in his head.

"The doom of Gods! The doom of Demons! The Destruction of Fate itself! The Seal of EXPLOSION!"

After the domineering voice, a lot of information suddenly started to fill in Evian's head.

"Seal of Explosion..." He murmured as he took in a deep breath, "So that shrine was not an illusion but a lucky encounter?"

A smile slowly crept upon his face. From the information, he obtained he can now create explosive seals.

"Thank heaven for this gift..." Evian looked at the sky and clenched his fist. He always wanted to be someone great, someone, like village chief however previously he had no way to do so.

But now in just matter of a few weeks, he has encountered two golden opportunities, first, he found the way to cultivate Qi and now he could even utilise that Qi to create offensive seals.

"Let's see how this works. According to the information I got, I just need to pour my Qi and think about the Seal of Explosion." He picked up a small round rock from the ground.

After that, he closed his eyes and started to pour his Qi into the stone while thinking about the Explosion Seal. In just a few seconds he exhausted all the Qi that he accumulated the previous night.

Currently, he was not even a grade one martial artist so his Qi stores were low.

He then opened his palm and to his surprise, he could see a small black formation with strange patterns on the round stone, he could also feel a connection with the black seal like he could explode at any time.

"Let's test it." He juggled the stone in his right hand and then picked a target, it was the spot in the ground where he buried the cultivation manual.

"Let's see what you can do." he closed his left eye and then aimed at the spot below Rhino tree, he threw the stone with as much force as he could muster and just before the stone was about to touch the ground, Evian Yelled.

"Ignite!"

And opposite to his expectations, the stone did not explode, however, only a small spark appeared on the stone, and the black seal on it disappeared.

Evian looked at the little spark he produced and thoughts about ending his own life surfaced in his bean-sized brain.

Tears almost fell from his two brown eyes.

"What a shame, it looks like my Qi was only enough to light up a spark." He thought and took in a deep breath.

"At least it's better than nothing." Hope was still there in his heart. "As long as I continue to cultivate then maybe one day I will be able to create a big explosion."

Taking in a few more deep breaths he recovered his Qi and then dugout the tattered cultivation manual from the ground.

"You have changed the direction of my life, but alas you will have to go." A small black seal formed on the book and suddenly with sparks, it started to burn down.

Evian threw the burning manual in the pit he dug the manual out from and when the book was destroyed he covered the ashes with dirt.

He then bowed down in front of the Rhino tree as a gesture of gratitude for the cultivation manual.

After a few hours, Evian reached the Village Chief manor, the place he dreads the most. Entering the servant quarter he was about to reach his small room when a stern voice came from behind and stopped him.

"Where were you for the whole day?!"

Evian turned around and looked at the voice source. It was a middle-aged man with refined muscles and a crooked face. He had big eyebrows and black lips.

"Master Feran..." This was the person that Evian hated from the core of his soul. This guy has caused him more problems than any other person in his entire life.

He is the warden of servents and a grade three-body master. Body masters were different from martial artists.

Martial Artists train their bodies with Qi they harness from the surroundings while Body masters tempered their bodies with brutal training, that was why the path of body masters was limited and very hard to climb.

Evian bowed in front of Feran, "Master, I was in the Village to buy some clothes."

Feran narrowed his eyes and anger could be seen on his face. "You stupid monkey, who permitted you to leave the Manor? Who do you think would finish sowing seeds?!"

Hearing his angry voice Evian gulped his saliva, he knew he was in trouble. "Master, It was my off today, I applied to the treasurer yesterday..."

"Shut Up!"
