Never Heard Of The Zhu Family?

Zhu Tian looked at Zhu Biyu. "Why? Everyone else will be happy to hear that you're pregnant. Mom has always wanted a grandchild, and she has been telling Hui-ge to get married for years. She's going to be happy to have a grandchild. She not only got her daughter back, but she also got a grandchild that she had always wanted!" Zhu Tian said. 

He couldn't wait to see the look on his mother's face when she heard the news about Zhu Biyu's pregnancy. 

"I just want to tell everyone myself. I need some time to prepare for it," she said. 

She didn't know them well even though they were now her family. She had no idea how they were going to take the news of her pregnancy or if they were going to be disappointed in her because of that. 

She wanted to be sure of her position before she told them about her pregnancy.

"Xiao Yu, you don't need to be scared. Everyone misses you, and I assure you they won't mind you being pregnant. They are going to be happy and accept you anyway!" Zhu Tian said. 

Besides, he did not blame her for getting pregnant. Ye Yating was the one to blame. He was married to his sister and didn't even consider treating her well. 

He got her pregnant, then divorced her to be with someone else. 

If not for Xiao Yu, he would have gone to sort things out with him and demanded an explanation. 

"I just....I haven't figured out what I want to do with my life. I want to be sure of what I am going to do in my future before I tell anyone about this pregnancy," she said. 

Zhu Tian saw that she would not change her mind, so he let it go and let her do whatever she was comfortable with. 

"Okay then," he said simply. 

Zhu Biyu reached for her purse that was on the table. She picked it up, brought a bank card, and handed it to Zhu Tian. 

Zhu Tian looked at it confusedly. 

"What are you doing, Xiao Yu?" He asked her. 

"This, it's a bank card, of course. This is a VIP room. It must be really expensive....you can use this to pay for the room." she said. 

Zhu Tian shook his head and refused to take the card from her. No way he was going to take his sister's money.

"No. I can't take this. Don't worry about it. I am going to pay for the hospital bills. I brought you here, so I am going to pay." he said, smiling reassuringly as he pushed the card away. 

Zhu Biyu had a worried look on her face. When Ye Yating was sick, he had stayed in a VIP room, and she knew just how expensive it was. She didn't want Zhu Tian to waste all his money on her.

"But a VIP room is really expensive. I don't want you to spend all your money here," Zhu Biyu said. 

Zhu Tian looked at Zhu Biyu with a slight smile in his eyes. It seemed that she had no idea who the Zhu family was. 

"Have you never heard of the Zhu family before?" He asked her. 

Zhu Biyu tilted her head to one side. "No.... should I know?" Zhu Biyu asked. 

Zhu Tian shook his head immediately while still smiling.

He could understand why she did not know about the Zhu family. They were not as popular as the Ye family. They had always lived in recluse and avoided the media as much as possible. 

This was why, even if they could rival the Ye family, only people in the upper circle knew them. 

"It's fine. Where did you get this card from?" Zhu Tian asked. 

From the story that she told him, he did not think that her adopted family would give her a bank card to use the way she liked. 

Zhu Biyu bowed her head when she heard this. She told herself she would no longer use the Shen family money, but it seemed she did not have a choice again. 

"When I got married, the Shen family had given me this bank card as my dowry. They planned to get the Ye family to invest in their company after we were married anyway. Ye Yating has helped them a couple of times since we've been married, so giving me this card did not go to waste, " Zhu Biyu informed Zhu Tian. 

When she married Ye Yating, the Shen family did not know how Ye Yating treated her. 

She was just a cash cow to them. And the only thing they cared about was that they could use to get benefits from Ye Yating. 

Zhu Tian frowned and took the card from her.

"Is Ye Yating close to the Shen family?" Zhu Tian asked her. 

"I wouldn't say they are close....but they have a lot of business dealings because we were married....now that we are divorced, I don't think he will continue supporting him," Zhu Biyu said thoughtfully. 

Ye Yating had no reason to do that. 

Zhu Tian had a calculating look on his face. 

"Fine. I am going to take the card," he told her. 

Zhu Biyu smiled when she heard this. She had just found her brother, and she did not want him spending all of his money on her for any reason. 

"That's great" she muttered. 

"You should rest some more. We'll get discharged when you're feeling better. And then, we'll go back home," Zhu Tian said. 

Zhu Biyu smiled when she heard the word "home." 

All her life, she had never thought that she had a home. 

In the Shen family, she had to be careful about what she did because they made it clear that she was not a part of their family. 

And in the Ye family, she tried hard to win Ye Yating's heart. She never had the chance to relax and build a home for herself.
