Chapter 1

The strike of thunder woke Nadia Torres from her sleepless nights with a scream filled with nothing but hunting memories. The booming of thunder and lightning, gave her chills, it riminded her of her nightmare, although she could not see the lightning,it sent shivers down her spine.Hugging herself tightly, her body filled with fright,Nadia tried to comfort herself.

Getting rid of the covers,she got off the bed slowly.Even though the room was brightly lit,she could not see anything but darkness.With her hands stretched forward, she tried to find her way around the room .With small steps, she still banged her knee against the table that the glass of water fell on the floor.

"ouch!! ouch!! " she cried out rubbing her leg aaar!!!;that hurt she thought .In the quiet room ,the breaking of the glass was loud enough to be heard outside.The door was opened and her brother Raul entered hurriedly.

"Nadia stop ", he exclaimed worriedly seeing his sister almost stepping on the broken pieces of glass.
