Awakening Ch;1

As the cloud's cleared and the star's shined in this day and age many thought the end would come any moment of any day, and It Did... yet luckily those chaotic and blood-soaked days passed quickly and unexpectedly what felt like would last forever didn't

Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, was the day the world was reckoned by an earthquake causing an unknown amounts of damage and an immense amount of casualties....

Yet with that came an awakening of Strength for everyone, many across the world whether human or animal they evolved in immense and great strength and emergence of strange ancient towers painted in a Night black as well as gates that had seemed to lead to other worlds these gates also began to release monsters thought to have only been of fantasy and fiction and with that a metaphysical panel displaying many if not all physical attributes of a person who has awakened to abilities of the supernatural to fight back these threats those who do so have become know as Hunter's and they wore this title with pride...

it's been 25 years since the day the event known as the great cataclysm had occurred and awakening has become a common occurrence... 

Those that awaken also have chances of awakening innate abilities called talents and these abilities are graded on a scale of F to S... 

Cough...! Cough...! Sigh...

So, everyone Does anybody know how many S class Talent holders there are Disregarding those bound to the tower ...?

Ah...! Come on... Teach... Fine, fine... Theirs only 7 S Class Innate talent holder's in the world their talents are unknown only the rank is recorded still their pretty famous You want me to name them Hah... I will anyway... I said with a mocking grin knowing I had answered his question Correctly... 

Theirs Mathew Avergast otherwise known as the Sword saint, Max Luidcurn otherwise known as the Master of many magics the Archimage... I'll speed it up theirs's the crimson witch's real name unknown, the magic Swordsmen the Sword saint's disciple name unknown, The Faceless Enchantress name unknown, and then the last two the Bloody Berserker, Nikitani Jushema and the Martial Warrior Name unknown and that's .... Sigh... is that it did I get it right Teach...  

He looked at me with an angry gaze obviously at my oh-so Sarcastic tone I had while answering his question 

what else could I do when he woke me up in the middle of a rudimentary after school class that no one cares about... Yet with that thought I noticed him about to speak... 

Well Fine then How about a surprise Qui... Ding...! Ding...! Dammit...! Leave before I assign you homework... Your lucky you got saved by the bell brat...  

After that I finally started heading home after leaving the mostly abandoned school due to it being after natural school hours other than the usual after school classes it was empty... 

Well, it's about time seniors are allowed a chance to attend the annual Hunter's classes and the Scheduled awakening ceremony if they prove talented enough and have a decent enough talent and Stats then they'll be accepted into guild's, government Military groups or the foundation of it all the Hunter's Association.... 

Some naturally awaken It was pretty telling who because of the many absences that have been frequent for the Senior classes though just because they awaken doesn't mean they are particularly powerful just slightly lucky... 

As I made my way down the street heading home, I finally found myself Infront of a familiar doorway getting my key's out I unlocked and then opened the door after getting in a slouched on the couch throwing my backpack on the floor hearing the textbooks in the bag hit the ground with a thud... 

Dang... This school year couldn't end any sooner... Still, I doubt i can enjoy my time as much as i have I'll need to get a job I want to be a hunter... Climb the tower, clear Gate's, save people but not only that I want to be strong not only strong but the strongest... But even with that goal I know the gravity of that desire of that statement... 

Ah... Whatever let's just finish up with that that anime and maybe start a new manga series too sometimes I can't help but think I'm so lucky to have an empty house but at the same time I still can't help but wonder what life would have been like with my sister and my parents this house itself was recognized as relief from a branch of the hunters association called The Magical Disruption and Disaster relief branch 

The MDDR (Magical Disruption Disaster Relief) aided me due to the death of my parents and sister due to a gate break, I was saved thankfully by a passing A-Rank Hunter that was tasked to scout for survivors after the gate was cleared that same gate being tackled by Multiple A-Rank hunter's and an S-Rank the gate itself having been recognized as an A+ Rank due to the monster's it released being those of the Demonic Nature Fallen Angels that could summon Mid-Rank devil's and Low-Rank demon's.. 

After that thought I decided to get to it and finish my binging session that I couldn't the other day...  

Snoring... ZZZZZZzzzzz... Ding...! Ding...! Sigh...! Just 5 more minutes Yesterday was Friday...! Wait a second, I didn't set an alarm for today just to sleep in... So, i looked up and saw the faint holographic panel it a faint Blue with it having some text painted on it...

Innate Talent - (Ex) Fantasy's Thief - Allows the user to take any and all items from Work of fiction as long as that items are able to be seen Example Visual works or art or illustrated books and much more though this talent has limitations and restrictions though their still unknown... 

Skills: Obscure B+ (Lv - 1) - Allows the user to obscure the information on your panel against skills similar to Appraisal and other information probing skills...  

After seeing that I awakened and at that an Innate Talent of Ex Rank which I had no idea existed I was paralyzed in excitement if I screamed any no doubt the whole neighborhood would hear it after a couple moments of this, I found myself calm enough to think clearly... 

My game plan for now is to understand my ability and gain some experience with it after that I'll register for leave from school due to a talent awakening then register as a hunter at the closest Hunter's Association's building... 

After thinking it over I decided to finally start playing with my ability I have a good level of knowledge of anime and manga as well as some life action shows so let's start with that I said with a spark in my eyes with this I would no longer have to worry about dying in battle and not even moments later I started up the anime on my television the anime a nostalgic classic I scrolled through the episode and found it and not even a couple second later the scene with the item I wanted displayed itself a golden chalice with a Strange magical aura to it holding water the moment I made my mind to take that item my hand started feeling strange.. 

My arm as if feeling disconnected from the world as if no longer being accepted by the laws and rules that governed this physical plane and my arm the moment it touched the television phased through my hand feeling an odd sensation the humidity of the environment my hand was in was a strict contrast to the dry cold living room I was in I started grouping around feeling for the item I really wanted and then the cold handle of the golden chalice I met and then pulled it out leaving the paused scene on the television with it in my hand...

The ethereal magical aura that exuded from the item in my hands was telling of it's magnificent affect's and finally I started to drink the water it an usual icy temperature traveling down my throat to my stomach where it started to bubble and burn as if molten metal my body heated up my vein's apparent and constricted pain convulsed throughout my body I lost the strength to stand and my body hit the carpet floor with a thud as my vision went black....

Uhhhh... Groan's... Sigh... Ow... ow.... as I pull myself off the ground my head pounding with a nauseating and loud migraine hearing a couple crack's and pop's all over my stiff limbs and back, my clothes were covered in a dark disgusting goo that emanated a strong Oder I couldn't help but feel the need to barf but I held it in my stomach as I refused to dirty the carpet...  

Not too long later I found myself in the bathroom with my hoodie and shirt off my headache was gone and I was utterly speechless my physique had exploded my strength seemed boundless my heart beat an unfamiliar but strong rhythm my vision seemed more defined, and I felt weightless akin to a feather after this I couldn't help but rush with the shower get a new outfit on and leave the house with my phone, House keys and my wallet..  

As I was walking down the street, I remembered having heard some system notification's before passing out let's check the status panel...
