Chapter 35

ELOISE'S POV

The smile and excitement all disappeared when I saw Tony drive into a creepy looking warehouse that looked like library too.

The stench from the place was horrific.

It smelled like musty books, damp stone, and every day things rotting.

The place felt as though it had gone dark ages, and I'd just been buried alive in a tomb.

The smell of dead bodies and blood had become as familiar as my own stink.

I didn't need the ceiling caving in around me to know that I was in Hell.

I'd seen enough horror movies to know.

As soon as we pulled into the long gravel driveway that led to the warehouse, I got out of the car with no idea what to do. Then the question he asked me a while back came to my mind. "did you offend my boss in any way?"

"Tony!"

I said, trying to sound shocked and scared and everything I felt at the moment, but in the end it just came out as a squeak.

"Yeah?"

"What are we doing here?"

"You'll find out soon" he said and walked in.
