Ability to Shapeshift

After the fight Simon understood that when fighting, magic is more important than the body, so he started cultivating his ice magic.

After learning one type of magic, to learn another would be extremely hard, but because Simon had his bloodlines connect to the magic, it wasn't that hard.

If he knew gravity, light and ice magic, he would become very strong and he could probably fight and win against those that had a higher rank than him. His light magic would be offensive, gravity magic would support him and ice would be defensive. It would be almost perfect.

3 months later....

Elder ranked magicians were all respected and were considered as being powerful geniuses. They would usually become mayores of small cities, officials, high ranked officers and other things.

Today Simon achieved just that. He reached the elder rank's, rookie stage. His body grew to the size of a lion, became way more tough and powerful. his scales were blue, but there were some yellow and white, standing for his gravity and light magic. after waking up Simon ate some plants and small animals that were useless to his evolution.

"Okay, I should try my magic" he said and used his newly learned light magic skill called light sphere. It was a ball that was the size of a fingernail. It flew straight towards a big, lush tree and touched it. Simon thought that there would be a big explotion, but after it hit the tree there were a couple of seconds of spooky silence. Suddenly the tree and everything in a meter radius around it dissapeared. Simon felt that a lot of his mana had dissapeared, but he understood that this spell, he could threaten master ranked magicians. In this world, light magic was very rare and powerful and because of that, it was stronger than most of other magic. With these types of magic, magicians could attack people or beasts that are stronger than them.

"Ok, now that i have reached the elder rank, I should go eat some beasts and evolve into the elder rank's, peak stage. That's what he did. For the next two weeks, Simon hunted some high rank beasts whick included a dark camouflage cougar, which was a high rank, peak stage beast that had magic that could let them blend into dark places, even shadows. Then he ate a green scaled python and a silver eagle. these two had high rank's, rookie stages and didn't have any magic, but they're bodies were very strong and agile.

On the third week Simon met another elder ranked beast that was a rage bear. Rage bears had bodies that couldn't actually break into the elder rank, but when they activated they're rage ability, that every single rage bear possessed, they would double they're strength and could threaten elder ranked beasts.

Unfortunately for the bear, Simon sneaked up on it with his newly learned camouflage magic and easily killed it by shooting three light spears into the bear's heart. He didn't wan't to use his strongest spell - light sphere, because it would've obliderated the bear's body and there wouldn't of been any bloodline to absorb.

After Simon ate the bear, he quickly learned the rage ability and then made a screen pop up in his head, that showed him into what type of beasts he could evolve with all his bloodlines.

Merging options:

Merge Green scaled python, silver eagle= silver winged python (high rank, peak)

Merge Rage bear, silver eagle= ground dragon (elder rank, rookie)

Merge Dark camouflage cougar, green scaled python= Giant camouflage python (elder rank, average)

Merge Blue scaled lynx, rage bear, dark camouflage cougar= Black rage Lion (elder rank, peak)

" Wow, this one is extremely strong. If I evolved into this beast, I could finally shapeshift into a demi-human. Awesome!", Simon thought and without any doubts, started evolving into a Black Rage Lion.

1 month later...

"Yes, I finally know how to shapeshift!". Now, Simon wasn't a ferocious, 6 meter long and 3 meter tall, Black Lion, but a tall, extremely strong looking human with cold black eyes and jet black hair. The fur that was covering his Lion form's body, now transformed into a black coat, that looked mysterious and beautiful. What surprised Simon the most, was that there weren't any animalish features on his body. He soon understood that it was because he already had a lot of human blood inside of him and that he looked identical to his older human self, apart from the black hair and eyes.

" I should also evolve every other beast that was in that screen, so I could merge this form with them". Another month past quickly, as he evolved every other beast. Simon understood that if he wanted, he could probably evolve into a master rank beast, but he understood that if he did that, he couldn't participate in the tournament, that was held in the Dragon city's Arena.

Simon quickly returned to his Black Rage Lion's human form and said, "time to get some money!", and started moving towards the direction of the Dragon city.
