Last Mistake

Silence met his words before it was violently shattered by Percival slammed his fist on the table with a loud crash that sent the bottles and cups flying.

"Lies! Those bastards! They dared to make fun of us! Monsters went for those in high levels? Jokes!" His eyes shone red and his aura darkened the room.

The Magistrate gritted his teeth and shrunk in his seat. This was one of the reasons he didn't like Hunters, they get angry easily.

Apostle Ken smiled and waved his hand. "Calm down, Percival. It's not like we don't know it's a lie but we don't have the truth either."

Percival shook his head and snatched one of the wine bottles on the floor, the top part was broken but the little wine in it still made its way into his large mouth.

Ken faced the Magistrate. "Thank you for coming and telling us this. To think even the Alchemist I sent was not able to stop them. A shame."
