Chapter 3 - The Vampire's Blood
As Marcus and Elena continued their journey through the forest, they came across a group of vampires lurking in the shadows. Marcus could feel the bloodlust coursing through his veins as he drew his sword.
"Let's take them down," he said to Elena.
Together, they charged forward, their weapons glinting in the moonlight. The vampires hissed and snarled in response, their eyes glowing red.
Marcus quickly dispatched one of the vampires with a swift blow from his sword. He then consumed the vampire's blood, feeling a surge of power as it coursed through his veins.
His status panel flashed a notification - he had gained 100 experience points and reached Level 9.
"Time to upgrade my Bloodsucking talent," Marcus thought to himself.
He quickly opened his status panel and upgraded his talent, feeling his bloodsucking ability become even more potent.
As the battle raged on, Marcus and Elena fought with all their might. They took down vampire after vampire, their skills and talents growing stronger with each kill.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, the last vampire fell to the ground, defeated.
Marcus's status panel flashed another notification - he had gained 500 experience points for defeating the vampires.
"Good job, Elena," Marcus said, breathing heavily. "You fought well."
Elena grinned, her eyes shining. "Thank you, Marcus. We make a pretty good team."
As they caught their breath, Marcus couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He had taken down a group of powerful vampires and gained valuable experience points in the process.
Marcus's status panel appeared once again, showing his current level, stats, and abilities.
