"It had been more than a week. But she had still not woken up. Why?" asked the marquis with red eyes as he looked at his sleeping daughter who looked like a statue.
He was so angry that he wanted to slap her but at the same time he was worried about what happened to her.
The physician shivered. He could not understand himself what had happened to the girl too.
She must have woken up in a few hours since the injury was not severe but since it was on head, he was not sure. So he did not dare to pass any comment.
"My lord, I am trying my best. The wound on the head of the lady had almost healed." he assured but his assurance only angered the marquis further.
"Ha! Then tell me why did she not wake up? Your best is not enough and if she would not wake up. You are going to lose your life because of it." he assured the man who shivered with fear.
He wanted to tell me that no one physician could help him too but he just bowed his head.
