"I came to take your permission." Ren stood up and smiled brightly at her father who raised a brow. For some reasons he did not like the tone of word permission.

But he nodded his head and let the hilt of his sword go.

"Did you have snacks? Wait! Let me ask for more.``  He walked to his table and pressed the bell.

Soon two maids walked in and bowed their heads.

"Bring all kinds of desserts from the chef." he commanded as the maid left soon.

"What kind of permission do you need?" he asked as he sat on his chair and unbuttoned his first button.

Alice started hard at the drawer as if there was a ghost hiding which could come out any moment and held her captive.

Leo raised a brow when he looked at her pale face.

"We are thinking of having a competition." Ren spoke in an urgent voice when her father turned to look at her.

Only then did Alice take a breath of relief.
