Lost Her Powers?

"Ha! So you do not care if it is her or me, all you care about is the position?" Rene laughed hard as if she had heard the joke when the eyes of Elric narrowed.

He had thought he was already cold enough that she would not dare to speak in front of him again but she was looking straight into his eyes with such cold mockery that had never happened before.

He has never been challenged or looked like that by anyone.

"Lady! That is enough. I think you should leave." he growled when she laughed.

"Are you forgetting that it is my palace, lord Elric. If someone should be leaving, it is you." her voice was loud again when Wendy budged in.

She held the arms of Elric and tried to pull him back but closer to her in the name of helping them out.

"Sister, you can treat your future husband this way. You should be happy that he is loyal to you and did not take any other woman into account." she chided as if she was greatly disappointed in him.
