"........." her whole body turned rigid as if a jolt of electricity passed through her veins and her blood froze.

"My lady, are you okay?" Lucy ran to the little girl who was fine just a minute ago but now trembling like a dried leaf in the windy night.

Her face lost all its color and cold sweat started to form on her face. She was looking shaken and scared but why?

Lucy failed to understand what brought that change on her calm face. She was not at all scared when she faced her father or the family of marquis a few hours ago.

She tried to talk to her but as if her voice was not reaching the ears of Renata who was looking scared. So, Lucy wrapped her arms around the girl and then rubbed her back soothingly.
