Hector could feel something sinister boiling in the center of his body. Collapsing to the floor on his knees, he tried to call out for help. But not a single word was uttered. The entire room was bathed in shadow.
Blinking once, it then changed to the personification of every element. The blue-haired pre-teen forced himself to stand. If he would be killed by an assassin, by hell would he do it standing!
*Brrp!* Reality cracked open as two opposing clawed fingers started to separate into a breach. The sinister boiling in the pre-teen's chest grew stronger and caused him to twitch. A hereditary disease that plagued his family already showing up because of the change.
"What... are .. you?!" He forced out in horror. Healthy a few seconds ago but sick all of a sudden was not good. The thought of a rare poison passing briefly in the youngin's mind.
"I am the Deity Tiamat. Every version and scope of it consumed into one." A powerful feminine voice said from the opening. The deep backing is unable to pass it as a masculine creature. "You are the most compatible with my "found" champion, for that.. your body will be his. But do not fret mortal, Your dreams and desires will flow through him. And your little kingdom will thrive."
The blue-haired youth was about to speak back in protest but Tiamat exerted her will upon his very body and then tore his soul to threads. Not destroying it entirely, since the shreds would be used to nurse her champion back to a normal level quickly.
*Haaaaaoooo!* Tiamat let out an almost breathing howl. From her mouth, a flickering ball of light shot out. It entered the body of the blue-haired youth and started to weave itself in place. The shreds of the soul fed into the ball making it complete in minutes.
"Que demonios!" He yelled first. Hector never felt such brutal pain in his life. Seeing the eye in the breach, he gave his thanks. "Thank you for saving me from death and all but what do you want me to do now? And how do I get back home?"
"For home, I do not know, nor do I care really. You must find that out on your own. But what I want for you, is for you to Conqueror this Dimension or establish an Enthrallment here. That way I can replenish my strength for the Coming War."
Tiamat's voice started to get a little weary. Saving Hector from the Unending Army took a lot out of her. While ferrying his soul over, she was disappointed the soul inside did not have the power of a "Vortex" like a few of the others. But he did carry the natural affinity to move in a Dimension like a "Resident" of the place without issue.
Which, if nourish would be passed to those linked to him as a Champion. A perfect little Dimensional Infiltrator.
"The more power you garner for me, the more you garner for yourself. And vice versa. Or do you prefer to die and waste into nothing?"
"Tch! Hell no I don't want to die!" Hector looked at her incredulously. Who in their right mind would want to take that option!? "I will earn what I need to survive and to pay you back for saving me. As for Conquering an entire Dimension, I have no idea how to do that. Regular warfare I know, but that sounds different."
"The same way you worked with Rexford to destabilize targets and assets. Do what you know just in a more older setting." Tiamat's voice came out out a little cooing. An unwilling Champion was not something she would deal with. It was a good thing this one would pay back favors. "You have a small sliver of my power thanks to the ferrying of your soul. It is surprising you have not gone insane. Most tend to crumble into madness."
"The darkness and screaming I am very used to, so it is fine." Hector crossed his arms staring at the eye. Rocking his head in thought of his childhood and missions the others did. Somewhat thankful for all the counseling he was given when getting out. Odds are he would have broke if not for that when he was swallowed up. "So what does your power do exactly?"
"Allows you to use every magic it seems." Tiamat scanned his soul checking over what he could do. "But this is something interesting. You have the ability to enthrall those you have defeated or gained the respect of. As well as Reap.. you have killed many so it has stained your soul in a way. The more you fight, the more you will learn. Try not to die.. No second chances."
She would not tell him everything just yet, Hector's mind was still frazzled and needed time to adjust. Tiamat started to retreat back into the breach. Fatigue overtaking the Deity.
"Wait!" Hector called out quickly. He needed more information on what happened to the others. Hopefully, she would tell him. "I need more than that! What happened to the others?! Who did this to us?!"
*Shine!* A bright light hit him in the chest. Sliding across the floor into the bed behind him.
Inside his soul was a little small room. Empty in space beside a little ball. A piece of Tiamat's soul. It spoke out answering the questions he wanted to know. But this depleted his health quickly. A Goddess of Primordial Chaos was not something you just take in without problems. Especially in a young body.
In the room magic was devoured along with other types of matter to all for growth. The ball of light started to take shape and form.
.
Internal Space-
.
"What in the freaky is this?" Hector floated to the only solid space as far as he could tell. Looking in every direction only revealed Darkness to him. Besides several women that kept changing facial features, hair, and eye color. "Woah!?"
Hector had seen his fair share of beauty before but this was sickening kind. If not for a throbbing of pain in his soul still, he might have been completely captivated. His very soul-changing from looking towards her.
Looking down, the pain was less severe. But the presence could still be felt. Tiamat did nothing as she was amused he entered the Empty Space of his Soul so easily. A small chance or derived from training maybe?
A check will be done while he sleeps to figure the Champion out more.
"Explanation would be nice."
"Very well." Her voice cooed out. A shifting inside Hector's Internal Space and water flourished for a few feet. The sound of splashing did not make him look up. "The water.. is that of the Primordial Sea. Tell me what you know of me and I will see what to tell you."
Hector sat down in the water crisscrossing his legs. Collecting himself would take time to sift through the jumble of memory. This part of Tiamat was not going anywhere so he could take as long as needed.
The ruckus made in the room had a maid tending to him and tucking the young Hector into bed. Not seeing anything overly wrong, she assumed it was from exhausting himself through the day.
As the hours rolled by, Hector's body recovered and became stronger than before. The power of his Soul influencing the process as well as him becoming a Champion adding to it.
"Marduk, a traitor who incapacitates you with his "Evil Wind" power and then kills that body with a Divine Arrow." Hector looked at her while speaking. His eyes glowing a little in power. "Marduk splits you in two, creating heaven and earth from your powerful body."
Tiamat's eyes went cold. Not in anger at him but a telling of her pass itself.
"The Tigris and Euphrates from your eyes became two great rivers. Some saying it was the pain of what was basically betrayal and coercion that brought you down manifested. Mist from your final breaths drawn. Mountains from your breasts.."
"You are more learned than I thought." Tiamat said sadly.
"My friends read a lot, hear a lot of stories. Know a lot from that. Well besides killing and carpentry anyway, those are my fortes. Defintely will have to expand my knowledge. At least I know the Dimension I am in somewhat. Just need to finish.. recovering."
Hector looked at what he assumed was his mental thoughts made manifest. Noticing the water increased just a little, he thought it odd. As well as his legs looking a little thinner. It was at that moment he realized he was not an adult anymore.
"Well... shit!" Seeing a lot of his Spanish features gone, he marveled at the fact his hair was a dark blue. He also looked a little like Valencia around the nose. Which was unbelievably weird the thought came into his head. "Ok.. I can deal with this. Not to bad."
*Ripple!* The water, as if recognizing his thoughts no longer showed his reflection. Turning murky, weakening the stress on his thoughts. The overall reach of the water expanded a few inches in every direction.
"This is your Internal Space. You do not have the Vortex Soul like some of the others, but you are Compatible with some of my power. Thus the Primordial Sea can grow within you."
"So I have a choice in the matter?" Hector's brow furrowed as Tiamat no longer exuded a radiance and gave the feel of a normal person. Still, breathtakingly dangerous, but didn't cause his eyes to hurt. "That is promising."
"Choices are all humans ever have." Tiamat's voice came out soft as she stifled a yawn. The part of her soul was tired, just like the main part was before separating. "Items, People, and Buildings of Legend can be dropped into the waters. With your nack of rebuilding and experimenting, it is no wonder the Primordial Sea works with your Soul."
"What happens when they do?"
"The Primordial Sea will grow in strength or volume. Depends on what is put inside." Tiamat's eyes started to droop as she was getting really sleepy. Shifting the waters into what looked to be a bed, the Deity was about to go to sleep on him. "You know the History of this Dimension and those connected to it, throw them in here to speed up my recovery and I will give you something good."
Basically a sacrifice of sorts by the sound of it.
Hector was about to ask more, but Tiamat was out like a light. Focusing on himself, he wanted to figure more of what was going on with him now. When she wakes up, he could ask a few more questions that seemed important.
"Huh?" Thinking on what his characteristics were, the water reflected what could be considered statistics and knowledge. But guns weren't reflected so odds are they couldn't be used. Or something to that effect. "Well... not really game access since I can't generate quests or an achievement thing so far."
After wracking every type of game trigger he could think of, the only thing that showed up was this. No experience bar so it was really just a reflection of him currently. The Journeyman was more of something in the Sacred Stones Dimension as well as the Page. Why it was here was odd.
The fact he had both was most likely due to Tiamat and the original Hector. Hector's scope of dreams were small but then again he was young. The Lycian League was ok but to.. soft. After getting his body in fighting shape, Hector would go about changing things. He did not want to end up getting killed years from now by a Mad King of Bern let alone Nergal in a few years.
"Wait.. she is every Tiamat into one." Looking at the sleeping Goddess, the thought about how she hates certain Dragons popped up. Something would have to be checked about that. "Maybe with the different versions of her, it won't be to much of a problem?"
The next few years would drag on with a lot changing in Ostia from the new Hector.
