HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Running towards Mia, Isabella said, "Good morning Mia."

With a broader smile, Mia responded, "Good morning, baby. How was your night?"

"It was nice. I had a sweet dream where you, I, and daddy went to a picnic together."

"Well, don't worry, it's not going to be a dream for long."

"I am happy to hear that!"

"Happy mother's day," Isabella beamed cheerfully.

"Awww~ thanks, baby. I'm really happy to hear. You know I never believed that someone would say that to me at this age," Mia smiled warmly.

"And I never believed that I would be able to say it to someone."

Leaning down, Mia placed her hands on Isabella's arm. Then she said, "Well, now you have me, so you can say it to me every year until you get tired."

"Ok!" Isabella said, bringing something forward with her hand.

It was a small card decorated with a blue bow. It was colourful and pretty."For you, Mia," Isabella said, blinking her small blue eyes.

"Whoa! For me, ohhh, thank you, Isabella, it's nice and pretty," Mia exclaimed, surprised yet happy to see it.

"Yes, do you like it?" Isabella asked, her eyes fixated on Mia's facial expression to see if she really liked her gift or not.

Mia's face radiated with a tender smile as she opened the card. Reading the beautiful words written on the card brought a brighter smile to her face.

Even at this young age, Isabella had very beautiful handwriting that Mia admired greatly.Isabella was a creative and intelligent girl.

Though she might have looked like her mother, she had the talents and brains of her father."I love it, Isabella, thank you."

"I'm happy you like it, Mia," Isabella's eyes twinkled.Looking at both of them, Aunt Mary smiled tenderly.

Then she said, "Ok now, are you two ready for breakfast? We are having pancakes!"

"Hmm, pancakes," Isabella's lips widened as she hurried towards the table to sit with a smiling Mia trailing behind her.

After breakfast, Mia and Isabella got dressed and went to the car. They entered the car and it drove straight en route to Isabella's school.

 "Do I have to go? I want to spend the whole day with Mia," Isabella whined.

"Come on, do you think I'm gonna let you go to school today? It's Mia and Isabella's fun time, okay," Mia chuckled.

"Really? But why are we going towards my school then?" Isabella questioned, her hooded doe-eyed slightly dropped with disappointment.

"Don't you want to show me off to your friends and let them know that you have a mommy?"

"I do! You know me so well, Mia,"

"Of course I do! You are my daughter, right, and anyways I like being famous among kids and teaching meanies a lesson."

"Me too! I'm so happy I got to have you as my mommy."Mia placed her hand on Isabella's head and patted her hair.

Then she said, "And I am happy to have you as my daughter."

After a few minutes, they arrived at Isabella's School. Isabella attended the most expensive and famous Middle school in all of Graceland.

She was the daughter of one of the richest CEOs in all of Graceland, so it was a given that she would be sent to the best school to study.

Mia and Isabella walked together, holding hands as they stepped into her classroom.

Isabella's classroom was colourful and lovely. The moment they entered, they grabbed the attention of everyone as they all had their eyes fixated on Isabella and her new mommy.

Holding Mia's hand, she walked towards her class teacher 'Miss Ella'Seeing Isabella and an unfamiliar woman walking towards her, Ella adjusted the rim of her glasses and said, "Good morning, I'm Ella, their class teacher.....please, may I know who you are and what I can help you with."

"Right! My name is Mia. I'm Isabella's mother."Miss Ella's eyes widened in surprise, "Y-you are Isabella's mother, oh I didn't know. I mean that I didn't know that Isabella had a mother."

"What do you mean by that? You are a teacher and you are old enough to know where babies come from. Who do you think gave birth to her, a bird?" Mia scoffed.

Rolling her eyes, she continued, "Anyways, I'm here for permission because I'm going to be spending mother's day with my daughter. So please excuse us and add Isabella to the attendance list. I don't want my husband to get worried about her grades." 

 Hearing that, Miss Ella swiftly bobbed up and down while saying awkwardly, "Y-y-yes Mrs Parker, I will get it done. Please have a nice day." Miss Ella's head tilted down in a respectful bow as she spoke.

She didn't want to do anything to get the evil CEO and his wife angry.

Seeing that her mission had been completed, Mia held her daughter's hand, and they both left the school.Reaching the car park, Mia and Isabella burst into a feat of laughter.

Then Mia asked, "So how was that? Didn't I say I'm a good actress?"

"You totally are. You were amazing," Isabella laughed, giving her a thumbs up before asking, "So where are we off to next?"

"We are off to a bakery," Mia answered.

"Bakery? Do you mean Kong's Bakery? It's very famous, but I don't think I want to go there. Daddy and I already went there last month, and I don't think I like their pastry so much," Isabella said.

"Kong's Bakery? What's that? I only have one bakery in my mind, which is the 'Sweet-treat Bakery'" Mia looked puzzled but beamed as she mentioned the bakery she had in mind.

"Sweet-treat Bakery, I've never heard of it," Isabella contemplated.

"Well, that's because it's not as famous as those bakeries they show in magazines."
