Roommate

I let my hair hang down, the waves a comfort on my back. The feeling almost like before. My hair would never be the same, kind of like me. The color made it easier to hide, that was as much as a comfort as my small body was. No place was to small for me.

I found that when I was alone I enjoyed my hair down, I wasn't hiding or running or doing something to get it caught. I looked up at the stars painted on the ceiling. My roommate was late but I didn't mind the quiet. I picked the bed closest to the window, which was the one in the corner beside it. The closest holding my few years of clothing.

Id been this size since I could remember, I very rarely ever destroyed my clothes so I never needed a whole lot to begin with. I had maybe a weeks worth of clothes, hanging up in the closest. I opened the window and sat on the ledge of it, being careful to not fall off.

The door to the room opened and voices filled it, both male and female.

"I cant believe your late!"

"Sorry, I just wanted my beauty sleep."

"Your so irresponsible!"

"Looks like my roommates been in here," it was the guy.

"More like she still is, look."

I kept looking out the window. I looked at the area. We faced the ocean, but in between was lots of trees and an open yard. Kids were resting on the yard, before classes tomorrow. I heard a thunk and turned to the sound.

The boy was on the floor, his head looked bad. His hair a half brushed mess, his eyes a dead looking pale blue now. His shirt and shorts were multicolored, his skin tan. He was definitely taller then me, his brown bag sat on the floor by his bed.

The girls that were there looked very miserable with him. One with blond hair and green eyes stood over him, yelling at him. The other was a guard, the uniform gave it away. The patch said she was a guard of the school. Her eyes a cold and bleak grey. Her hair sat atop her head in a messy bun of black, being held by a thick yellow elastic.

"Don't look at naked women!" The girl yelled at him. "Its wrong!"
