Chapter 20 : Promise.

Nothing change, even though it might be during the exam, the trio never neglect their time to make it for hanging out with Dilbung. They learn the world for Dilbung childhood is nothing but like hell. One day they will take different road for their goal and achievement, the time will come when their is time limit while hanging out themselves. So, in order not to have a single regret they just want to do everything they can while they are still young, cheerful and always stick together with themselves.

That day Elias called over Dilbung telling her that he get some work to finish so he won't be able to pick her up. So decide to left early and see her granny as the trio also busy with their exam being a senior.

Dilbung just text them through group chat telling them that she will leave early and all. She went off happily, buying her granny favourite bread and flowers. She become a live full girl. After she have bought it she went off for the hospital taking a taxi.

When she arrived their she heard her granny sobbing, as she peak her through the small transparent window like attach on the door she saw aunt Tete and her granny sobbing together. She wonder what might have happen and try to open the door to entre. But their she pause when she heard their conversation.

Bang!

" Granny.": cried Dilbung as she entre the room with a out roar opening the door. She heard them all. She heard her granny telling aunt Tete to look after Dilbung for life time.

" Dalbunga.....granny is so sorry...I'm sorry that I can't live with you that longer. So, can you promise me to stay with aunt Tete even when I'm gone.": sobs granny as she hug Dilbung.

Dilbung can't accept the reality of her granny condition. She shed her tears yet a empty expression. No matter how much she think she can't understand.

Dilbung sit their silent. After the atmosphere calm down. Dilbung says " I will promise granny. I will become a girl living a normal life. I will do whatever you want. But, please can't you leave me alone.", with those teary eyes and the shaken voice.

Granny hug her once again. She feel devastated to leave her only granddaughter alone. She knew her live growth struggling and now as she become a lot more changing on the good side, her granny wants to stay with her a little more longer but sadly she din't have much time left.

After a heart break reality that Dilbung face about her granny, she left the hospital with those empty eyes, her head being down and walking like she almost gonna faint off.

Horn!

The horn startled her and turns out its Elias waiting for her at the hospital gate as the aunt called him up beforehand. He take her off at the seashore to make her feel cheer up but nothing seems changes. He hand over her a cold drink as he bought his too and along the sea shore side watching over the ocean which almost turns into reddish color from the sunset afar.

" When I learn about my father chronic illness, I have gone, I mean my mind. I was crazy from my grudges on fate. But when I learn to let it off and amazingly I feel the freedom which I have never feel in my life. I just think, if I live my life this way my father will not be happy." says Elias as he sip his drink, looking over the afar ocean wave.

Those words make Dilbung look over him and wonder.

" I just feel like....I can't imagine my life without my granny. After all she's like my father and mother. I love my granny so much yet I can't say it to her guess I'm too coward. Even when i din't talk with her, she will look after me when I have nightmares. She never sleep once taking care of me." says Dilbung as her eyes well up with tears.

That moment Elias warmthly embrace her in his arm and gently kiss on her head. He console her saying, " fair things never happen in life. People come and walk off and I hope that since your granny gonna walk off from your life, we walk in to you before hand."

She never know that it just starts from being a stranger and here, never thought that sometime stranger can turn into someone dare and give the most warmth embrace when no one is their to give it.

" Are you asleep?": a text from Angus to Dilbung.

" No. How about you, brother Angus?": Dilbung replied back.

" I just catch up with my revision. But, Dilbung, am I that too unworthy for you to even notice me?": Angus hesitated and cut up all what he have write on the text and,

" Just checking up with my revision. I just want to apologize about the pics I mean I always forget to give it to you.": Angus lie over the text.

" It's okay, then.... Good night": replied Dilbung as she sigh over the phone.

He don't want to let her go, at the same time he is not in the status to stop her from that too neither he can't confess up. He feel devastated about his feeling. He neither can't focus properly for the exam.
