Chapter 12 : Behind the smile.
" Okay then let's party. How about we stay up the night together?": suggest Amy as she wipe the tears.
" Cool. Then lets go for shopping then.": said Andie as she wrap her arms around both Amy and Dilbung shoulders.
"It's too hot.....let's just order around.": said Amy as she being drag by Andie.

Its the convey thought from Shine Dilbung happiness of their friendship. Even though she din't slip out from her mouth, her heart is lingering with all this thankful convey for them. While watching them going wild from energetic.
They rush up to every store. Even though they are sweating from the heat they are more brighter than the sun. Sipping over some cold drinks. Gonna be best memory ever. Both Andie and Amy buy almost all the hair styling material for Dilbung. They just want to gifted to her so that when she feel break down and feels like hiding herself from others, that time she can just look at the gift and clip up her hair and think her friend support her still, even in the time when the time come for them to go on their own separate way.
Evening.
" I'm worn out": sigh Amy the moment she's back at Dilbung house.
" How about we take shower together.": Amy tease Andie.
" You crazy just go up first and shower.": said Andie as she throw towel to Amy.
While Dilbung smile looking at them. She is happy.
Later.
" Wow, its refreshing and the bathroom look like heaven, its shinny and more way big than my own room.": sigh Amy the moment she came out after shower.
" But Andie how about you shower together with Dilbung, she can rub your back.": Amy tease Andie again.
" You crazy bitch.": said Andie as she rush up at the bathroom. She is blushing easily.
" Tch.": sigh Andie inside the bathroom, with her hand over her face.
After the dinner they sat down at the cottage for night tea. The weather also suit it perfectly. The clear sky with stars, the soft breezing.
" Ahh....it feel so good.": sigh Andie as she sit with her leg straight out from the chair, leaning against on it and looking up at the sky.
" Its my first time.": said Dilbung.
Both Amy and Andie look at her with a confuse face.
"Its my first time, having friends , having night tea at the cottage, inviting friends over my place, going for shopping together. Everything is new for me. Sometimes i din't even believe myself that i have a friend like you. I'm just happy that i meet you all.": said Dilbung looking down at the cup of tea she hold it, with a soft voice.
"I feel like weeping again, Dalbung why are you so sweet?": said Amy as she hug Dilbung.
"Yah!Yah! let's sleep together instead of sleeping at the guest room.": suggest Andie as she drag Amy from Dilbung.
Morning.
The morning starts with laughter. The house came to alive. The vibes is too energetic. That day Dilbung tell Angus to take a rest, instead she went with both Amy and Andie for visiting her grandma. Even though the granny lay down their unconsciously they bow and greet it.
As they came out from the hospital and tryna go for cafe. Amy got a ring saying that her mother is calling for her that some of her childhood came to visit her so she need to leave. She even declined Andie offers to go back together to see off their friends. She leave them promising that she will meet up with them tomorrow.
Slapped!.
With a heavy drink Amy father slap her.
The moment she enter her home, she saw her mother badly injure from her father being beat her up. She lie to Andie and Dilbung about her phone call form her mother. Its her father calling her and she knew her father gonna beat her mother.
" You bastard!. Who told you to stay night out?!." shout the drunk father.
" What? When did you care about my business?.": said Amy with a scornful eyes looking at her father.
" This brat!": shout Amy's father and started to beat her up. The helpless mother tryna help her daughter but the pain can't make her move up to her daughter.
Amy never utter a sound from her pain of being get beaten, her father even kicks at her stomach. Instead she cover up her face. And she let him kick her like some object which can't feel the pain. The brightest expression of her turns into a lifeless person expression. She is too stubborn to even cry out.
She is brutally hurt, her stubborn make her smile on her mother and apply the ointment. Amy mother sobs still, not from the pain but seeing her daughter being acting tough.
" But mom next time then called me first if dad come back okay. I don't want him to beat you up.": said Amy as she hug her mother who is crying.
After applying the ointment she walk out to buy some vitamins drinks and painkiller for her mother. Even though she get a layers of bruise she never care about it, nor she can't feel the pain as it happen to her like every second. Sometimes the bruise stayed for more then 5 months . She become numb to pain. Instead she cover her face from being got bruise as she can't hide it behind her smile. She din't want other to find out and feel pity for her.
" Sister Amy?": a voice called up her name from behind.
Literally the called up to her name startled as she turn back and turns out its Andie and Dilbung.
" Yah! Dalbung what are you doing here instead of hanging out with Andie. Did Andie bullied you?": Amy tease Andie the moment she saw them. She hide her feeling well.
" Yaah! How can you say something like that?": cried Andie.
" Ahh... sister Andie got stomach ache after eating spicy noodles. So we came to buy medicine.": smile Dilbung as she says that.
" This girl acting tough. Then see you tomorrow, I came to buy some vitamins drink for my friends to see them off.": said Amy as she give vitamin drink to both of them.
" YAH! You bitch get well soon don't poop to Dilbung okay.": leave Amy as she tease Andie. Her acting is so natural that Andie even get fool of it.
The moment she leave.
" Sister Andie is there any sick person over sister Amy home.": said Dilbung as she give medicine to Andie sitting over the bus station.
" I don't think so, if she have then I'm sure she will tell me. Why did you ask it?": said Andie without any caution.
" Its nothing, might be I'm getting overhead. It just that i saw her buying painkiller.": said Dilbung in a soft voice yet shy being getting wrong from her conclusion.
Andie realised what Dilbung is talking about.
" I'm sorry Dalbung, but can you wait me here for a bit. I won't take long.": said Andie as she left running. While Dilbung watch her back view worriedly.
It's not that far from that place to Amy house. Andie ran up hashly and rang up at the door. the moment Amy open the door she drag her around the corner of the wall.
" YAh! You crazy catch your breath first. What happen did you kiss Dilbung?.": Amy tease her.
Without giving back her reply, Andie just swipe up her shirt.
" What you are doing?": surprise Amy. But its too late.
" Did he beat you up again? Why din't you tell me anything.": said Andie with a tender eyes.
"Don't mind, my mom got even more worse than me, it's nothing. Go back": said Amy as she look away from Andie.
" What?Go back?. What is alright?. Let's go to hospital.": cried Andie as she worriedly hold Amy hand and tryna drag her out to hospital.
" Please.....please go Andie.": said Amy as she snatch her hand out of Andie hand yet she look her head down.
" Then let me call my father, I'm gonna make you father pay for this bullshit.": Andie said furiously.
" Please.....": the voice sulk as Amy hold Andie shirt, a little with her finger tips.
Andie drop her phone and hug Amy. The warmth embrace melt Amy, she can't keep up with her act, tears well up she said she shouldn't cry but she can't stop it. She cried like a baby in Andie arms. She hide everything through her smile. But she fail once again hiding away from Andie. She is too tired from her being stubborn.
