Titan tried to break free from the bond that held her captive but she just couldn't. The more she tried the more futile it seemed.

"You don't need to worry about these bonds. Worry about something else... Your future with me. I'm being a gentle De... Man for not taking you away instantly but here's the thing you'll come to me yourself and you know why?"

As he asked, his hand trailed down from her cheek to her neck before he proceeded.

"You're mine."

Titan kept struggling to break free but she couldn't. Why can't I move? What's holding me down? And wait! What did he mean by I'm he's? Is he mistaken? How did he even get here? Crap it sucks! I can't use my powers. What happened?

The man had blue eyes and his beautiful face was irresistible but to Titan, he was nothing short of dangerous. Every vibe he gave off made the hair on her body stand. What she was feeling wasn't fear but rather, compulsion.

She felt connected to a man she didn't even know. How pathetic!

Razel leaned closer to her till he was only a few breaths away. This time, he didn't say anything and just stared at her for a while. Noticing her fear, he moved even loser but Titan shut her eyes tightly. 'Damn it! Why is he coming closer?'

She shrunk backward but then, she sensed something and snapped her eyes open. With widened eyes, she stared at the young man who equally stared at her indifferently. It was Zagan.

Where did the other man go? Did he switch his form?

Zagan stared at her confused face and raised his brow. What was she thinking?

'Where did that man go?' Titan asked Zagan inwardly.

Zagan furrowed his brow. Who was she talking about? What man? Then he channeled to her and said, 'There was no one her. I've been here since dawn and I'm sure I didn't see anyone. It must have been a dream.'

Titan nodded. 'Of course, it must have been a dream besides I've never seen that man before and it's impossible for someone to just badge Into the academy without the knowledge of the masters.' But why did it feel so real? She wondered.

She tried to sit up but realized that she couldn't move a muscle. What exactly happened? She turned and shot Zagan a stern look.

'What happened? Don't tell me you beat me at the tournament.'

Zagan didn't say anything instead, he just nodded causing Titan to boil in anger.

'You... How dare you! You cheated. Didn't we say well notify each other once we wanted to get serious? So why did you beat me down? And this badly. Look I can't even move a muscle; what are you a reaper?'

It was obvious she was furious for thinking she lost the match but it was fun to watch her pout so Zagan teased her even more.

'I told you to stand down but you refused and that's why you got beaten up so badly. You know, you should have just listened to me and spare yourself the trouble.'

Titan's expression grew worse. How could he do this to a girl? For what he has done, he is definitely going to have a taste of her wrath.

'Why are you here? Who let you get in?'

Titan asked suspiciously.

'All the masters are having a meeting so I came to accompany you.' He said nonchalantly.

Titan scoffed. What did he mean by accompanying? He was the one who got me into this mess after all. So why is he behaving as if he cares?

Zagan took a seat and sat at the other edge of the room which was close to the window. He looked casual but his strong aura could not go unnoticed. He placed one leg over the other giving him a majestic look and even though he looked a little stressed, Titan couldn't help but gawk at his natural outstanding charm as the young man stared at the bright sky.

How can someone look so breathtaking? The gods are really unfair.

Zagan raised his brow and drew away from his gaze from the blue sky and stared at the person who was ogling at him.

'What? Is there something on my face?' He knew her reason for looking at him but he chose to act oblivious.

Titan blinked twice and shook her head.

'I was only wondering why you became so reserved.'

After what happened yesterday, Zagan decided to become focused on the task at hand. Razel. He couldn't be too sloppy. He let his guard down this once and look how catastrophic the situation got. He even put a student in danger. It would be best if he didn't get too close to this student.

He stood up and got ready to leave the room leaving Titan stupefied.

'Hey! Didn't you say you came here to accompany me? Then why are you leaving so soon? Don't forget you owe this bro a lot. After all, you put me in this situation.'

After hearing her words, Zagan almost puked blood. 'You shouldn't refer to yourself as a bro. You're undoubtedly a girl. Look I even beat you up badly and you still dare to call yourself a bro.' Because they were unable to talk much during the tournament, Zagan was still in a dilemma of whether or not Titan was a boy.

'Hey, don't you dare underestimate me! I'm sure I just let you win back then. You should consider yourself lucky that I don't remember anything that happened yesterday but trust me, I won't let you off easily. And I dare you to call me a sissy. I'll definitely end your life if you call me that again.' She passed her warning. She didn't want Zagan to unravel the fact that she was a girl because things would get awkward between them and she didn't want to let go of this communication partner she just met. If he ever found out that she was a girl, he would not be himself around her and would always want to be cautious of his habits and that wasn't the type of friend she wanted.

Zagan raised his brow. 'You can deny it all you want but you sound so much like a girl how can you cover that up?'

Titan scoffed. 'Really? Then if I sound like a girl then you sound like a singing bird. Your voice sounds feminine as well. I only let you beat me because I didn't want to hurt a girl like you. It must be because we are communicating through our mind that's why we are being misguided. Urgh... I can't believe I thought you were a girl.' Titan continued denying it. And now, ever Zagan fell for it. Besides, why would a girl dress up as a boy? He must have been mistaken.

Having this thought, his tensed nerves relaxed. This new bro would make a good buddy. But even at that, he still opened the door. Titan looked uneasy. Did he still not believe her? But before she could say anything, he spoke.
