5 Chapter 5 Cultivation Is Easy

Later into the day, Long Lei managed to breakthrough into the 2nd Stage of Qi Refinement, and soon a knock came on the door. "Young Master, dinner is ready." A servant as Long Lei got up from his bed breaking out of his cultivation.

"Would you mind bringing it to me Mr Lu?" Long Lei asked, as the servant behind the door smiled. "Not at all Young Master." Mr Lu replied as he walked off smugly. Long Lei hadn't treated anyone that nicely in ages, and Mr Lu was pretty chuffed about it.

'See if you lower expectations enough, even simple kindness will bring about great benefits.' Long Lei thought to himself as he gazed at the shop.

Seeing this, Long Lei was quite pleased. 'Not only can I just straight up buy the technique, but Long Hei is already working at the Rage Points.' He thought to himself as he immediately purchased the Untraceable Cultivation, Sneaky Technique.

The knowledge of the technique immediately flooded his brain, and he smiled in delight. 'So this technique can hide my cultivation technique from almost anyone, practically no one on this shitty plain can bypass it.' He thought malevolently as a smirk fell on his face.

Long Lei then brought qi out onto the tip of his finger and inscribed a symbol on his chest. The symbol then faded as the qi fluctuations around his body faded, as he seemed like a mere mortal.

A benefit of his Namikaze Bloodline and the Thunder King Cultivation Technique, was that it enabled him to control his energy quite easily, as if it was a limb he had since birth.

'Hahaha, this world will fall before me! If I really wanted to, I could just live out life as a peasant as I just continually increased my cultivation, and then shit on everyone in existence.....wait, maybe I won't have to go to that extreme, but I can farm quite a few rage points. If I recall correctly father had once mentioned that apart from our Heaven Breaking Sect, there was the Endless Hell Sect, and their young master is around my age and their Sect Master is already proposing an engagement between the 1st Princess and his son.' He mused as his face held an evil grin.

'I wouldn't be a xianxia protagonist if I didn't ruin SOMEONE'S engagement.' Long Lei concluded as he heard a knock on the door. "Your food is here Young Master." Mr Lu said as Long Lei walked towards the door and opened it.

"From now on, bring me about double my regular portions, as well leave it in front of the door. Cultivation is arduous and I can't afford to be disturbed, if I were to fail a breakthrough and damage my meridians, whose head would fall first?" Long Lei answered coldly as he picked up the plate, along with the glass of water.

Hearing this Mr Lu was frightened out of his wits. "Y-Yes Young Master, I will bring your breakfast at dawn sharp, lunch at noon, and dinner at sunset!" Mr Lu replied as he saluted. "Mhm, thank you Mr Lu, have a good day." Long Lei said with a smile as his previous cold persona vanished.

He then went inside and shut the door. Mr Lu, frightened, left as he wiped off the cold sweat on his forehead. 'The Young Master, he's too, dangerous. Sometimes he's good natured and other times he feels colder than hell itself.' Mr Lu contemplated as he went to do other work.

'Haha, good I won't be bothered anymore. Mother is wrapped up with teaching her disciples and father has sect management to take care of, I am totally free to cultivate as I please.' Long Lei thought as he admired his brilliance.

He then ate is his food and drank some of his water. "Take the rest Long Hei." He said as he slid the tray under the bed. "Thanks." Long Hei said as he ate the food while continuing to earn Rage Points.

He then sat on his bed and began to cultivate. This time it would take a bit longer than before. This was because if the capacity of the 1st Stage of Qi Refinement was 1, then the 2nd Stage was 2, but one must not forget that the Stages of cultivation stacked, meaning a person's total cultivation base wouldn't just be 2 but rather 1+2, which in this case would be 3.

About 10 minutes later, Long Lei woke from his cultivation. "This, is too easy." Long Lei said to himself as he looked under the bed. "Hows it going?" He asked as Long Hei made eye contact with him.

"Fine, these vegans got really triggered after I botted their servers sending a ton of images of beef and pork, at some point they did a mass kick, and ended up kicking some of their actual members ontop of that. It was quite good." Long Hei said as Long Lei chuckled.

After that he checked his Rage Points.

'Quite the profit.' He thought to himself. After that he continued to cultivate deep into the night, eventually breaking through into the 3rd Realm of Qi Refinement. "Hahaha, this, this is too great." He said to himself, as he got off his bed. "Long Hei, you should cultivate too." Long Lei suggested, as the clone got out from under the bed and shook his head.

"I am but a clone, not even on your realm, it was fun hacking and all, but I should disperse now." Long Hei said as he shook his head. "No, I need you, why else do you think I asked for double food?" Long Lei declared, as Long Hei shook his head.

"Don't worry, I am part of you, and you are all of me, even after dispersing I'll still be there." Long Hei said cryptically before turning into smoke. "Goodbye." He said finally as Long Lei clutched his fists.

Long Hei was Long Lei's clone, so he knew his personality. Long Lei got attached to things too easily, and although he had a weird way of showing it at times, sometimes he didn't have the strength to let go.

'Thank you, Long Hei, our time together was short, but you showed me a glimpse of something important.' He thought to himself as he crossed his fingers. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." He said as suddenly 4 clones popped up.

"You know what to do." Long Lei said as one of them headed under the bed and the other 2 sat on the bed along with Long Lei.

When creating Shadow Clones, the user's qi would be divided by the corresponding number of clones. In this case by 5. Due to this Long Lei's main body would be at less qi, but regenerating it would be much quicker than actually cultivating up again, and considering the fact the clones could cultivate simultaneously, he would soon be making many breakthroughs.

Soon Long Lei along with the other 2 clones began to cultivate. Within a matter of minutes, Long Lei had recovered his used qi, as did the clones. Long Lei then created another clone, halving his qi yet again.

He did this again, and again, till he had about 10 clones cultivating. At that point, nothing was stopping Long Lei. In about half an hour all the clones including Long Lei, had reached the Peak of the 3rd Stage.

They then began to drill through the 3rd barrier encasing the 4th section of the dantian. As the peak hours of night fell, the barrier fell, as they went back to collecting qi. After Long Lei filled a 4th of the section, a clone dispersed.

Immediately the rest of the 4th section was filled, propelling him into the Peak of 4th Stage Qi Refinement. Along with the extra qi that the clone had acquired, Long Lei began to drill through the 4th barrier.

In a matter of minutes, he broke through, but the extra qi granted to him by the clone soon dispersed. He was now in the 5th Stage of Qi Refinement, but, he didn't stop there.

Another clone dispersed, and he attacked the 5th barrier. By dawn he had broken through to the 6th Stage of Qi Refinement, and another clone dispersed, instantly bringing him to the peak.

"All those other shit heads, who acted like they were smart for using their cheats effectively, were just talking out of their ass." Long Lei said as he clutched his head. 'The mental strain is irritating though.' Long Lei thought as he opened the door.

Outside was a steaming breakfast along with some water. 'This will do.' He thought before eating it up, his clones looking on in slight envy. "You can have lunch, but first we must continue cultivation, only when I am at the 9th Stage will I sleep!" Long Lei said as he clutched his fists, all the clones concurring in that verdict.

Long Lei, with all his hax, in a little over a day reached the 9th Stage of Qi Refinement, something only a boy with his level of op abilities could accomplish. 'I did it!' He thought as night fell, along with his body which fell asleep.

As did he, his clones who were trolling dispersed as the mental strain on his body increased even more.
