"RAHHH!"
They screamed before charging towards the Emperor's army, Qin Bai taking the lead his spear piercing toward the Emperor's head. The Emperor wouldn't take it laying down though, as a bright golden aura emanated from his body.
"Dong!"
A sound of a bell being struck resounded, as a bell like formation covered the army from attack. "Soldiers, you're not only fighting for me, but you're also fighting for yourselves, for your family! If you don't get up now then you'll be slaughtered by the dozen and these ruffians will run through our entire Kingdom!" The Emperor shouted, trying to rally his troops.
"KILL!"
Qin Bai roared, his golden spear clashing with the golden bell, but he couldn't even leave a mark even after using most of his power. 'Seems this little boy does have some methods after all.' Qin Bai mused before rubbing his mouth.
The old man then lifted his hand before closing it, and in an instant all of the cultivators behind him stopped. "What's wrong old man? Scared of the Emperor's prowess?" Qin Wu asked mockingly, as he regained his composure from the earlier bout.
"Arrow Formation." Qin Bai commanded as immediately the cultivators reshuffled into their positions. With war on the horizon Qin Bai had prepared each and every one of them for battle.
"On my mark." The old man continued before retreating slightly. Qin Bai then swayed his spear slightly, before all of the cultivators began charging toward the golden bell formation. Their killing intent soaring.
"KILL!" "KILL!" "KILL!"
They roared as they seemingly concentrated their power at the front of the formation with Qin Bai as the arrow head. First his spear pierced towards the formation.
"SCHINK!"
It cracked ever so slightly, and then the weapons of those behind Qin Bai attacked the formation, cracking it even further, again and against the weapons of the cultivators struck till the formation completely collapsed.
"Puu!"
The Emperor spat out, blood dripping from his lips. Currently his soldiers were in disarray and he was weakened, not only that but his general was panic stricken and could barely muster the strength to fight.
Seeing this the Emperor immediately made a decision, he turned around and ran away escaping as far as he could. 'In a one on one Qin Bai would never be my match but against him and all his soldiers I have no chance.' The Emperor contemplated as he retreated.
Today his prestige was ruined, his face slapped, but as long as he could fight again another day then his pride was always salvageable.
Noticing the Emperor's retreat Qin Bai didn't pay it too much mind as he led the cultivators to kill the army, eventually only leaving Qin Wu by himself as he tried to fight against the army to avail.
"Halt all action." Qin Bai then commanded as the cultivators fighting Qin Wu pulled back. "Qin Wu, see where betrayal has left you?" He asked rhetorically as Qin Wu gazed back at him bitterly.
"Before you kill me, tell me, did you really kill my father?" Qin Wu asked, as he knelt on the ground due to fatigue. "As I've said time and time again, no." He answered as he made his way toward his nephew.
"I see." The man replied, before his head dropped to the floor. "Tell Xiao'er I said hello." Qin Bai finished his golden spear stained with blood.
Hearing this the cultivators grew solemn, not sure how to respond. "One of you bury him." The old man said, having seemingly aged a few more years. For five minutes the old man stood in the same spot his spear planted in the ground.
"Well, time waits for no man, we shall begin our charge towards the main battlefield." Qin Bai commanded, the cultivators behind him nodding before beginning their march.
After marching for a couple of hours a figure soon appeared in front of the army. "Yo grandfather." Long Lei greeted as he appeared in front of the army. "Halt!" The old man quickly said holding up his hand in a fist.
"Lei'er what are you doing here?" Qin Bai asked with a smile. "I've come to assist in combat." Long Lei simply explained. Hearing this Qin Bai, along with the rest of the cultivators chuckled slightly.
Seeing this Long Lei's brows furrowed. "Fine don't believe me, anyway have you finished your battle?" The child asked seemingly slightly annoyed that the crowd didn't believe him. "Indeed we have, that's besides the point though, what are you doing all the way out here?" Qin Bai inquired a bit confused as to how Long Lei made it all the way out here by himself.
"I have my methods, but anyway I should inform you that the only battlefield that needs solving now is the main battlefield, I've finished up everything with the County Lords." Long Lei explained before taking out a kunai.
Qin Bai wasn't all that pleased with his grandson's answer but shook his head seemingly not too bothered. 'Mei'er has enlightened me about the abnormality of this child, so I shouldn't interfere too much.' He mused before Long Lei handed him the kunai.
"Take this, I'll be back in a few seconds." He said before disappearing leaving the band of cultivators in shock, what was more shocking is that the boy then reappeared again as if he never left.
"Okay lets make this quick." Long Lei said before using the Shadow Clone jutsu, in an instant everyone was completely stumped. "Please refrain from asking me questions right now, I would like to make this as swift as possible." He simply stated before counting how many people the band of cultivators contained.
'Hmm about 2000, that's a bit taxing even for me, but luckily I set up some clones to begin gathering energy earlier.' He thought before beginning to explain his plan to them.
After about 5 minutes they all understood, and Long Lei quickly teleported Qin Bai back and forth so he could understand what was going on.
Right now Hou Cong wasn't at the main battlefield yet, but he was many times closer than they were, and banding up with allies was never a bad idea either.
So Long Lei and his clones then began teleporting the countless men through the use of the Flying Thunder God technique, and by the end of it Long Lei looked like a ghost.
He had expended all his energy, and he had expended all the energy of his spare clones as well. Luckily he had managed to teleport all the men though before he had to tap out.
After that the army of the Hou, Lan, Qin, and Heaven Breaking Sect Reserves charged towards the Endless Hell Sect, and lets just say they weren't going to play nice.
Oopsie daisy, I kinda took a 2 day break. I'll be honest yesterday I was just being extremely lazy, but Friday I ended up with a slightly packed day so I had barely any time to make a chapter.
Either way I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and I hope to see you in the next one.
Till next time, cya!
