Chapter Two: Terrible premonition
\sounds of static images and scratching voices heard\
All around the world, through amateurs videos, people could see the lights falling, and a particular video caught their attention, one that showed the horror of the situation.
Atlantic Ocean
The waves where high that day, as it was cloudy, the Cumulus nimbus clouds in the sky where thicker than normal, sign of a very heavy storm was on his way, the people on the fishing boat tried all their best to stabilise and balance the boat.
One of the fisherman took out his phone and directed the camera towards the sky, it the background of the waves hitting the boat, he could hear the captain and his colleagues screaming at him, on what the hell was he doing, he did not speak not reply, but instead pointed at the sky.
A fire ball burst out of the clouds showing the ray of sun to shine on the dark world, the debris collided with the sea creating a huge wave which traveled to the boats location, seeing the approaching disaster, everyone on board turn pale, the man with his phone immediately pressed upload before pocketing it back, as he ran to catch on a rope, but it was a second late, the wave flush him out of the boat.
Sinking, light of the phone could be seen as the video was successfully uploaded and the first seen emerged.

A man took out his phone and directed the camera towards the falling mass of fire towards the sea, this video was the most seen, soon the news came out to all.
Satellite Atlanta 1 has fallen, a news which everybody read and knew, and everybody had questions who needed answers, higher authorities around the world as citizens, the demanded explanations from At.corp on what was going on.
The primary school teacher spoke about the situation with the other staffs during their break period, the small boy picked a pen on the floor and observe it, playing with the pen, he copied a plane and ran with the pen left and right, children were busy with their own games.
The boy halted in his plane game, he open his palms as a soft cold sensation touched it, what was this? He thought, he tried to examine it, but the white soft powder had turn into water, he licked it, apart from a cold sensation on the tongue, there was nothing particular.
Soon another white appeared, and later the clouds turn dark grey as it started snow, this strange phenomenon was weakness by everyone as the whole planet was severely touched.
Ethan stared outside, today again was snowing, at first he was happy, but soon, he felt bored of the snow, when was it going to stop, when was he going to play outside, he came down from the chair and dragged it back near the table, going to the living room, his mom sat on the sofa watching at news being broadcasted on CNN about the world's situation.
"Mom, when is it going to stop snowing?" Ethan asked looking bored as he dragged on his mom gown, the startled mother looked down on the Ethan, she bend slightly and carried Ethan.
"Don't worry, the people on TV are certain that, this is a rare weather conditions and things may lightly come back to normal in the days to come" she comforted her grumbling child, but her tone showed signs of being anxious about something, and Ethan felt it.
"Would everything be alright" asked Ethan, he felt that her mom was hiding something.
"Don't worry boy" she smiled at the boy.
Seeing his mother smiling, he felt assured and kept the problem aside, his mother put him down, and he ran to the sofa and started playing with the iPad.
"Mom, the iPad is broken" said Ethan as he pressed on the games but the only showed offline.
His mom came over and took the device from his hand seemingly confused, "strange, why isn't they any network bar?
As the pondered together, they heard they door opening, the mother turn and look elsewhere, "oh.. is you" she smiled.
"Dad isn't back yet?" The young boy of 19 years asked, as he junior brother ran and hug his legs screaming his name.
"Luther!"
"Hi Ethan, I am back early today" said Luther, he glance at his mother who look worried, "trainings where suspended, and it looks like the situation outside is getting out of control" he whispered for Ethan not to hear much.
The woman looked at time, and later outside, the weather seems to worsen as minutes go on.
Two hours later...
The weather really deed worsen, as a blizzard was announced, a phenomenon rare in this country and continent which has never experienced such cold weather.
Soon, the door open once more, a man dressed in officer entered the house, he cleared the snow on him, and removed his jacket, joining his two hands he tried to warm them up with his breath, but even his breath was cold, this slightly irritated him, but the wife appeared smiling at him, she took his hand and warm them with hers, she kissed them.
"Welcome back Lloyd" she greeted with a loving smile, the man's annoyed expression a minute ago vanished as if it had never been there in 5he first place as a big smile appeared on his face, he immediately grab the woman on her waist and brought her closer to him, he land a firm kiss on her pink lips.
"Oh come on, not now, you have to first change and take a hot bath" she tried all means to dodge the man's kiss assault, the man grumble but did not stop the assault.
"Dad, mom, aren't they rooms for that?" Asked Ethan as he brought his father's pantoufle, both parents immediately stopped, the blushed as their small boy stared at them.
After clearing out the misunderstanding with Ethan, Luther could not stop laughing at the dinner table, which seriously annoyed Lloyd, his wife brought the food as the enjoying the moment, soon, it was already late.
Putting Ethan to sleep on his bed, Lloyd arrange his blanket such that he should not catch a cold, he smiled for a moment, but soon his expression darkened, he closed the door to Ethan's room and left for the living room, there, his wife, and his first son Luther sat waiting for him, after having a seat, both parties waited for Lloyd to speak.
"We might need to leave very soon..." His first sentence poured on their hearts like cold water, their first thought was, "was the situation that bad, that they had to leave?"
Around the coastal areas, the seas haven't turn ice, not for the moment, a security man was tasked to look around the area, he spotted something in the dark as he ran forward with his torch, lightening the area, he saw something terrifying.
"What the hell is this?" He fell a chill traveling his bones.
