Virus Attacks of Minas Ithil

"Hold the line!" ordered a gondorian captain to other soldiers with shields on the front of the entrance while archers are on the walls shooting at the infected attempting to get in.

"Their numbers are numerous! They're able to push back both us and Mordor slowly..." Idril said with a scared tone, as the infected achievd more in their army any time a clash happens.

"Ahh!" Shouted a gondorian shielder, he'd been jumped on by multiple orcs and Uruk infected while being eaten alive.

The other soldiers moved in to rescue him as they stabbed at the infected's heads.

"Send him to the quarantined populace, this thing that causes them to go feral appears to be a disease of some sort." Informed another gondorian captain.

"Shield wall!" A gondorian captain immediately ordered after seeing a large amount of infected charging in to the entrance, the gondorians followed while the archers aimed their bows.

A few gondorian shielders were overwhelmed but the swordsman at the back dispatch the infected.

"Roar!!" A roar was heard and some gondorians grew terrified as they saw a Graug that looked similar to the orcs they fought before, charged at them.

"Prepare your weapons! Shielders, raise your spears and grip your shields firmly! Archers, prepare to fire! Swordsman, get ready to attack once the Graug finishes it's charge!" Idril commanded, terrified but also hopeful.

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* Every step the Graug took, the ground shook as it slowly got faster and faster until it went into a full sprint.

As the Graug reached the front of the shielders, it jumped and slammed down on them, the bridge got heavily damaged as part of it got a huge crater.

*Stab* Multiple stabs at the Graug's foot and lower body were commenced as some spears failed to penetrate it's skin, and some left a hole in it.

"For Gondor!" Cried many gondorian soldiers as they, including the captains and Idril charged at the Graug and slashed at it's feet continuously, the Graug doesn't seem to find it painful though which filled them with fear.

In actuality, the Graug was unable to feel pain and it's infected so they're gonna have a much harder time compared to a normal Graug.

A lone gondorian archer was at the back, appearing to be searching for Idril until he found a Graug on the bridge in front of the entrance.

He aimed his bow and shot, along with many other archers.

Their bows hit the head, and body as the Graug was filled with arrows.

The Graug then swung it's right arm, doing a punch which caused some soldiers to fly away to a wall to slide on the ground while groaning in pain.

It then smashed it's left hand on the ground which crushed some gondorians under it's weight.

The archers managed to prepare their bows once again and aimed at the head, some missed by a small margin while most hit it and filled it once again with arrows.

The Graug however doesn't seem to react to it as it thrashed around once again.

Idril spotted a high speed figure moving towards them with a blue trail following it.

The figure turned out to be Talion as he spotted the Graug and went at full speed, he leaped onto a wooden barricade as he jumped once again to the back of the Graug.

He jumped once again to the side of the Graug and aimed his sword at it's neck.

The force caused the Graug to fall to the ground and Talion ripped his sword from it's neck and slashed at the same spot again which decapitated it.

Some gondorian soldiers fell down on their butts and let go of their weapons, some sighed with relief and attacked the infected orcs and Uruks which reached their position.

"Send those who have been attacked by the feral orcs to the quarantine if you've seen them attacked, those who were hit by the Graug, send them to the inner city." Commanded a gondorian captain while heavily panting.

"Thank you for the assist there, Talion." Thanked Idril, seeing that they would've had alot more casualties had Talion not help them.

"It is no problem, but we have bigger priorities now. Have you intercepted Castamir's departure?" Talion asked with seriousness.

"He may have left already, we could check the camp where he stayed to report to the orcs." Idril regretfully said.

A gondorian archer went up to them and spoke, "Sergeant, Castamir had left from the tower, he went through a cave to the outside."

"It seems it's time now, go to the entrance, I'll rescue Castamir and try to convince him to stop giving the Witch King information or instead send false information." She decided.

"I should go and prepare for the Witch King's message to the battle in the arena then." Talion said, as he left and stood on the walls of the entrance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Gondorians, follow me quietly, there may be orcs patrolling around the area." Idril ordered, knowing that there were orcs in the way to the camp.

They walked steadily and quietly until they spotted two orcs near a camp fire with a gondorian soldier tied up with their arms on a wooden post.

"We'll jump at them together on my mark." Idril said as she along with the others crouched until they're near the orcs.

"Now." She said as she jumped on an orc and stabbed his head, she looked at the other to find a gondorian soldier kill the orc.

"What...?" Questioned the gondorian soldier weakly.

"You're safe now, go back to Minas Ithil to recover." A voice said, which sounded female as the rope binding his arms were cut and he fell to the ground on all fours.

The gondorian soldier stood up slowly and recovered his vision to spot Idril.

"Thank you, sergeant, I will never forget this." He said with gratitude and ran towards the cave Idril and the others left at.

"Let us continue, there may be more gondorian soldiers tied up and possibly Castamir." She said.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Let's get ready to fight them off, we don't know what happens now that those feral orcs began attacking each other." Celebrimbor said.

"Hopefully the Nazgul won't show up now, I don't think we're strong enough to fight them off without the ring." Talion said, which tempted Murphy as they began seeing legions upon legions of orcs in the distance.

"What the hell...." He was shocked, to think they would send a huge amount of orcs which most likely consisted of two fortresses.

He then spotted three fellbeasts, with six Nazgul's on horses. He was using his enhanced vision to spot them so the gondorians couldn't see them.

"The Nine have gathered, shit." He said with hopelessness in his voice.

"Gondorians! There are a huge amount of orcs approaching Minas Ithil! We should retreat the fortress as it is lost! We can establish an encampment inside Mordor to continue our fight!" He shouted to them.

"Where are they?!" A soldier asked shoutingly.

"There! But I don't think you can spot them as of yet!" Talion said, expecting his suggestion to leave to be denied.

"There's nothing there, you can leave if you want but we're defending this city to the very end!" A gondorian captain denied his suggestion.

"Dammit... Then I suggest the civilians to stay near the cave to the outside!" Talion suggested instead.

"Fine, in case you're correct then we will send them there." He said.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It appears lord Sauron prioritizes the capture of Minas Ithil than the death of his pretender." The Witch King said on his fellbeast, holding the reins to the draconic creature.

"A soon to be brother of ours is there as well, we should welcome him." A Nazgul said, talking about Talion.

"The time for the death of the Men of Minas Ithil has come." Er-Murazor (Witch King) concluded with his voice turning into the former Witch King before the fall of Angmar and returning back to normal.
