Talion, alongside Idril and Baranor were currently confronting eight Nazgûl.
"Talion, they are wraiths. So I will be able to join your fight against these ringwraiths." Celebrimbor told Talion as he manifested, sword in hand.
"We best be careful, you both are no more than ordinary Men. The powers of the rings will be too much for you when they use it, please retreat if that happens." Talion said to Idril and Baranor, knowing only some of their powers.
Khamûl being able to corrupt the surroundings and in turn the people, essentially rotting them of their bodies.
Helm Hammerhand, able to summon hordes upon hordes of creatures of Mordor.
Isildur, with the summoning of spirits of the dead and also using a power to damage any creature surrounding him. Eltariel would be the biggest help against him but she is in an unknown location for them however.
"It seems you still resist, no matter. Once Minas Ithil falls, so will you." Khamûl said, being one of the only uniquely masked and equipped weapon Nazgûl alongside Mûrazor, Isildur (Mask only) and Hammerhand.
He held out his mace, similar to the Witch King's but darker as the ground darkened and turned black as coal.
"Ngh!" Idril grunted in pain, as she and Baranor walked out of the darkened ground.
They experienced spots of their bodies rot and smell disturbing.
Talion experienced none of these due to the ring's powers, however he is still surprised as he had not seen this in the game, but instead credited it to the actual lore.
A Nazgûl suddenly disappeared in a black and green flash as he appeared in front of Talion to which he blocked while the Nazgûl returned once again.
Two then disappeared as Talion blocked one attack and used his powers on the other by putting his hand on the mask to which he vanquished one.
The Nazgûl now seeing how much of a danger he is, chose not to risk themselves by blindly attacking.
One attacked him as another appeared behind him, he blocked the first one and ducked under the other.
Another appeared beside him his left as he decided to sacrifice his left hand and it stabbed through his hand, almost to his face.
He then pushed his hand downwards which almost cut his hand in half but it released from the morgul blade until he raised it at the mask of the other Nazgûl and vanquished him as well while the the other vanished and went back to the other Nazgûl.
"Huff..." Talion panted, having to fight multiple enemies almost as strong as you would prove tiring after all.
"Let us retreat, it would do us no good to allow ourselves to be vanquished. Regroup with our brother, then the city shall fall." Khamûl commanded, being the lieutenant would provide him with this authority among the Nine after all.
Khamûl then turned around, followed by Hammerhand and Isildur with the four others until they disappeared in a puff of black smoke and a flash of green light.
"Regroup...? Did they enter the tower? Damnit, Castamir likely escaped then!" Talion shouted in frustration as Idril and Baranor looked at hm in horror.
"No... He did it once again, damnit! We should hurry back to the tower, it may already be too late for Castamir." Idril suggested as thet began running.
While running, Baranor asked, "Again? Idril, had this happened before?" With curiousity.
"Um... No it is something complicated for you to understand fully, let's say I saw one timeline of the future in say sixty years." Idril explained, avoiding on revealing herself to be a reincarnator to him.
"I see, very well then." Baranor nodded, though with some skepticism.
"Both of you take the stairs! I will shorten my arrival there by climbing up!" Talion told them as his legs turned into a transparent light blue, then he jumped which reached halfway already.
He began climbing while a blue trail followed him.
Baranor looked in shock while running, surprised to see a Man capable of such feat, though he knows he's not ordinary by any means from the battle they had fought together.
"Let us go quickly Idril! We may not reach in time if we are too slow!" Baranor said to her as they began running inside the gate.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inside the tower.....
"Guh!" Eltariel grunted after being overpowered in the clash with the Witch King.
"To think that an elf is here, tell me, of whom do you serve?" Mûrazor questioned, rarely have elves entered Mordor.
"I am the Light of Galadriel! And I have been sent here to vanquish you foul beings!" She shouted as a yellow light glowed on her hand to which a small projectile was sent to the Witch King, that he simply blocked.
"It is time to show you then, how futile it is to combat the Nine." Mûrazor said as green light glowed around him, he suddenly disappeared.
Eltariel's eyes widened by the speed, she barely managed to block the attack from the side by the Witch King.
Unluckily for her, with Mûrazor having enhanced capabilities, she was launched away.
'He's far too powerful as of right now, is it possible that is temporary?' She thought as she was once again attacked, fortunately she had ducked under the sideways swing.
The Witch King had then chose to deal a lethal blow if it landed as he raised his mace.
He vanished, as Eltariel rolled out of the way of the heavy attack.
The Witch King's mace cracked the ground and produced a loud sound from the aftermath.
He lifted it once again and looked at Eltariel.
She raised her hand as a glow emanated from it, a barrier of light appeared around her which blocks out attacks of foul origins.
The Witch King then decided to test out this barrier, he raised his mace and dealt a heavy attack to it.
It struck as a force was applied to it which felt like bouncing back.
"GAHHH!!" Eltariel shouted, from the power she'd been using from stopping Mûrazor's attack.
Due to being the most powerful of the Nine and also being enhanced, Mûrazor forced Eltariel to cancel her barrier as that attack may kill her very easily.
"Futile, now witness the power of the Nine!" Mûrazor spread his arms as six shadows appeared behind him.
"Dammit, they've gathered!" She cursed, knowing her capabilities to not be enough to combat them all.
A rumbling sound was heard as a hole appeared in the wall, it appeared to be Talion, hammer in hand.
"You, you're no different from these creatures. But I require your aid in dispatching them, so consider this a temporary alliance." She said as Talion nodded.
"You still choose to resist even though it's all useless, no matter. Brothers, hold them off as I start the final blow to this fortress." Mûrazor ordered them.
With that, he turned around and walked to where the Palantir was located and placed it onto the pedestal.
Talion's eyes widened alongside Eltariel as they attempted to get through the other Nazgûls.
Unfortunately they were stopped by Khamûl.
"None of you may pass, as our brother said." Khamûl said while placing the top of his mace on the ground while holding the pommel of it.
"Get out of the way!" Talion shouted as his left hand glowed blue, he punched his hand on the ground as blue smoke appeared around where he punched. The Nazgûl were pushed back a bit as Isildur finally chose to do his attack.
"Let this convince you of your attempt's futility." Isildur said as green light gathered around him.
"Wraith! Get inside!" Eltariel alerted Talion as she raised her hand where the ring glowed and a barrier was once again formed.
Isildur released his power as the barrier was somewhat shaken where the green light went to.
"Dammit, we may be too-" She was cut off as a flaming eye appeared.
Talion and Eltariel looked at it and saw the pupil moving, until a black armored foot was shown.
"No... We do not stand a chance here, dammit! Let us retreat now!" Talion cursed out as he suggested to Eltariel, knowing her to make a favorable decision would be likely.
"Very well then, let us go!" She shouted as they made a run for it for the hole in the wall.
"Wait! Let us take the stairs! There are allies heading here!" He tried to convice but Eltariel kept moving.
"Then go there! I will jump from the opening however!" She declined as she jumped out.
"Dammit." He looked towards the Nazgûl alongside Sauron, looking at him.
"Talion, run NOW! Celebrimbor screamed at him in his head.
Talion turned back and ran towards the stairs, where to spirals around the tower.
A blue trail followed Talion as he ran, while the Nazgûl turned to shadows and weren't far behind.
He finally spotted the two gondorian sergeants running up.
"Talion, what is-" He was cut off by Talion grabbing his hand with Idril as well.
"We need to go now!" Talion shouted while running, though he became slower due to carrying more people.
A shadow suddenly blocked off his path to the staircase.
"There is no escaping brother, you shall fall." The Nazgûl chillingly said.
"Damn!" He cursed.
"Talion, we'll hold them off! You go create an escape for us." Idril told Talion as he nodded hesitatingly.
The other Nazgûls followed soon after, surrounding them.
Two Nazgûl decided to attack the gondorians.
A ringwraith disappeared and attacked Idril, as she blocked but the Nazgûl grabbed her hand and pulled her which made her fall to the ground.
"Gah!" She was surprised by their move, now thinking it to be logical since their goal is Talion.
"Dammit, Idril!" Baranor shouted out as a Nazgûl attacked him but he blocked with his shield and counterattacked, but the ringwraith sidestepped and tripped him on his back.
Meanwhile, Talion was winding up his hammer on a powerful strike to destroy the wall.
The rest suddenly disappeared as two grabbed both his hands and pulled him back, another two grabbed his shoulders to make him kneel.
And at last, the Witch King appeared in front of him.
"It is time now, brother." Mûrazor said, preparing to come what's next.
They heard a loud metallic sound getting closer, as an armored foot stepped onto the stairs from above.
Sauron had appeared, and aimed to absorb Celebrimbor.
"Dammit, Talion! I will use all of my power to escape!" Celebrimbor shouted in his mind urgently.
A bright light suddenly shined as a ghostly voice cried out, "Haaah!" Which caused the Nazgûls to fall back while Sauron blocked his vision with his hand.
Talion turned to have taken the appearance of the Wraith, Celebrimbor.
"Dammit, I can't stay in this form for long." Celebrimbor said before he disappeared as if teleporting.
The Nazgûl got ready but Celebrimbor just disappeared.
"It appears he still had an ability we have yet to identify, forgive us lord Sauron." The Witch King said while kneeling as the others followed.
"No matter, their efforts to defend this fallen city will be for nought." Sauron said with a chilling voice similar to the ringwraiths.
"What shall we do with these allies of his?" Mûrazor questioned Sauron.
"Kill them, as the wraith is one of the only things that stand between us and the fall of Middle Earth." Sauron ordered while looking at the two gondorians.
"As you wish, my lord." Mûrazor stood and looked at the gondorians.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Orcs! Keep advancing!" An orc captain barked out to the soldiers.
"Captain! There's Caragor riders behind us!" An orc reported while pointing to where they had come from.
"Reinforcements? They're useless, we've already captured this city!" The captain shouted with confidence.
"No, captain! They're charging at us!" The orc added in his report.
"What!? Those traitors! Pikemen to the back, archers to the front and take these shrakhs down!" The captain ordered as multiple pikemen moved towards the back while the archers advanced.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright, you maggots! I better see more of them dead than dead of us!" The Caragor rider leader shouted out.
The orcs they charged were surprised that traitors appeared which resulted in the camp being demolished quite abruptly.
"Alright! Now here comes our challenge Uruks!" The same captain raised his blade while riding his Caragor, when they saw pikemen ready.
"RAAGHHH!" The Caragor riders shouted out in unison when they hit the pikemen.
Many Caragors had died while some riders died as well by getting impaled.
Those that had their Caragors died charged in wildly at the enemies.
"If you maggots die before killing them all then I'm gonna kill you all!" The Caragor rider leader shouted out to them while killing an orc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"A-are those orcs fighting each other?" A gondorian archer asked while viewing from afar.
"It doesn't matter whether or not they are, they've given us a chance to push back and we mustn't let this pass us." A captain answered as he raised his hand.
"Men! The lines of Mordor have been focused to the back, prepare for our attack to annihilate these encircled orcs!" He shouted out, aiming to indirectly aid the orcs that attacked from behind. Though most would not allow this chance to pass.
"Defenders, form a line! Archers stay behind while the spearmen next to the defenders!" The captain barked out as many soldiers formed themselves in a line.
"Wait, captain. I've ordered our soldiers in the inner city to gather here to prepare for the attack as well, we need all the men we can get to push them out." A gondorian sergeant prevented the captain from initiating the charge.
"I see, thank you for the help then sir." He nodded and looked back to the orcs infighting.
"Hopefully they last long enough for us to aid them." He said with a bit of nervousness.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ngh!" Talion grunted as he fell to the ground on all fours.
"We should retreat now, Talion." Celebrimbor suggested, knowing of no hope to save the city.
"No, we can still save it. There are the others there as well and finally Aragorn's reinforcements." Talion declined immediately, holding on to little hope.
"Talion, it is not set in stone that he would reach us in time. We should form our own army for the revenge instead." Celebrimbor reasoned.
"Wait, army.....?" Talion asked as a revelation came upon him.
Talion stood up with some difficulty, and looked towards Celebrimbor in his wraith form.
"I will do what you suggest, but Minas Ithil will not fall." He gazed in determination.
"Very well then. Either way, we'll have a much higher chance on beating Sauron." Celebrimbor conceded.
"I could only hope for Minas Ithil to last long enough for me to form an army from Cirith Ungol." Talion decided, and ran at full speed to the way there.
He had appeared in the outskirts of Minas Ithil so it is quicker for him to reach there.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We are very close now, gondorians. Prepare yourselves for what may be our final charge." Elessar looked to his left and right towards the gondorian knights to which they nodded nervously.
"May the Valar be with us." A knight prayed.
