The next morning Celina and Xia woke up at sunrise to pull the rest of their team out of their beds (Hugo sharing his with the sleeping brunette) and into cars. Antoni was the least happy about being woken up so early, but didn't argue after Celina explained to him Hugo's problem, which was a blessing.
He was, after all, still the leader of the mission.
They left right after a quick breakfast, passing their goodbyes to the headman through the sentries on the gates, and Celina hoped no one will come back to the Radiant Base with demands for child support nine months later. Not for Hugo's sake, but for the sake of the girl and the public relations.
Celina didn't want any more problems for Radiant Base—not when the dreams about having a life and a white picket fence with Xia in there grew more and more solid with each passing day.
