"Can you tell me a bit more about this curse?" Haven asked, looking sideways at Abigail who instantly stiffened up at the mention of it. They were in the car on their way back to the mansion and she couldn't help but wonder about that night once again.

Abigail shifted in her seat uncomfortably. "I'm assuming that Theo told you the basics already?"
When she received a nod in return, she resumed. "I know you're not quite comfortable with feeling and hearing the curse in your head but if you both keep on rejecting it, it'll only cause more problems. That's what I've been trying to tell Zei but that stubborn bastard refuses to listen to reason."
Haven internally grimaced. She wasn't too far away from that stubborn bastard since she couldn't help but do the same as he was doing.
