Ice Cream

  Eve's POV

   Bell rings, end of the class.

   I run to Amy's room as quickly as I can. I want to pick her up myself just like a true big sister, the ones that I always read in books and web stories.

  I was waiting outside her room when a girl was knocked on my way. She almost fell to the ground but luckily I grabbed her in time.

   "Oh, thank you.... That will be very embarrassing if I really drop there!". She was pointing at the ground with a one brows lifted.

   "Yeah, I know that feeling". I said to her as if telling her it already happened to me. The only difference is nobody cared to catch me.

   The girl looked at me and tried to peek under my hood but I lowered it more along with my head. "Are you hiding from something?". She asked bluntly but I wasn't surprised. It's always the same question from where I came from.

  Amy's loud voice while calling my name almost echoed inside her room. She run out with arms wide open ready to hug me when suddenly she stopped. She looked at the girl standing beside me then bow to her. My brows knitted in wonder. I asked myself, why is she keep bowing to other people?.

   "Do you know her?". I asked Amy in full curiosity and she nod.

   "Hey wait!... Do you know each other?". The girl is showing a big smile while looking over me then Amy. We both nod our heads.

   "She's my cousin". Amy broke the upcoming silence. "Eve this is Emma, she's the daughter of Dad's Big Boss". She introduced us even though we haven't asked her yet.

   "Cool!.... Your cousin just saved me!". She bursted out that word for almost everyone to hear.

  "I just stopped you from dropping". I said coldly to her.

  "Whatever... You still save me from humiliation... This calls for ICE CREAM!". She shouted in glee.

   'Great!.... Another baby to sit'. I mumbled to myself.

   "Let's go!.... My treat!". Emma said without even asking us if we want to go.

   Amy grabbed my hands and dragged me along. I just sighed in defeat. Emma walked like super fast and we are catching up to her.

   'Is she having an adrenaline rush over ice cream, God this girl is fast!'. I said to myself. In just a few minutes we're already standing in front of her car and I was totally shocked.

  "SWEET RIDE!". That's the only word I can muster. She owns a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ for fucking sake in lavender color. How crazy is that!.

  "Let's go.... Oh and let's just squeeze ourselves inside". She said while opening the door on her side.

   It's me now who grabbed Amy and dragged her to the other side of the car. I won't miss a chance to ride this BABY of hers.

   After opening and tossing my poor cousin inside in a hurry, I smelled the interior of the car. "Smells new!". I said and looked at Emma.

  She chuckles. "Yup!.... It's actually my brother's car!". She said before hitting the gas.

   Amy gasp when the car started while I was grinning. I don't care who's car is this or if her brother will kill her after, at least I tried riding it out. Very sinister of me and I chuckle.

   Only a couple of minutes we arrived at a very empty ice cream shop. Emma pulled the car a bit farther from the store and gestured us to get down and walk. My piece of heaven took only a few minutes. 'God I loved this car!'. I mumbled before going down.

   "Hi Mrs. Mina, hi Mr. Niel!". Emma greeted the old couple at the counter.

  "Emma, how nice of you to drop by... How's school?". The old lady, but not so old actually, gave us a warm and heart full smile and his husband just nod at us.

  "School's okay, still no customer?".

  "It's always like this... Those kids prefer the shop at the next block!". The old lady called Mina said with a smile.

   "They only goes there because of the pack but the ice cream there are just ordinary and plain not really that good". Emma snorted.

   I don't know what she meant about the pack but I just choose to ignore her.

   "Anyway I brought some people with me... This is Amy John's daughter and her cousin Eve!". As she introduced us. "Go there I'll take care of your orders". She pointed out an empty table almost at the corner of the store.

   We waited not long and we saw Emma and Mrs. Mina carrying three large bowl of ice creams.

  "Here you go!". Emma handed Amy a vanilla and white chocolate overload ice cream while mine is strawberry fudge overload with chips and cookies. Talking about a treat. My mouth salivate by the smell of sweet strawberry.

   "Did I ordered right?". She asked before she takes her seat and thank Mrs. Mina for our treats.

   "Oh, you are so very right.... Are you an oracle?". I asked her all of a sudden and she just laughed.

  "How I wished!".

  "How did you know this is what we like. You didn't asked us?". I was actually wondering how unless she can see the future.

   She chuckled before she answered. "Well, you smell like strawberry and she smells like vanilla, that simple".

  I grab the front of my hood and smell myself. "Do I really smell like strawberry?". I asked Amy and she grin widely.

   "Yup.... Even your whole bag smelled like strawberry". Then she giggles.

  Oh yeah, I forgot. When Aunt Annalee asked us what we want when she goes to the grocery I told her to buy me anything with strawberry flavors. And I actually stuff most of it inside my bag and stuff my mouth when no one is looking. Well I guess I'm a strawberry addict.

   I just shrug my shoulders not needing anymore explanation and dive in, in my big bowl of ice cream. The first spoonful of ice cream in my mouth feels like heaven. My eyes grew wide and moan in satisfaction. "God their good!".

   "I know right... This is the best ice cream shop. Nobody just know it by now". Emma said grinning.

  I continously shoved ice cream into my mouth spoon after spoon and I noticed Amy and Emma stopped eating.

  "Eve, slow down... You might get a...."

   Amy didn't finish her words as I hold my head in pain..... Brain freeze.... Damn!
