Envy

Caeron's POV

"Oh... Congratulations Alpha!". Dr. Riley said to me. "May I check the Luna now!".

"Go on". I nodded and he began to check her.

No one bothered Dr. Riley as he started to check Eve's condition. Everyone seems to be tensed and worried specially me. I haven't told her what's in my heart yet and she already end up in a hospital bed or a clinic bed and that is because of me, partially.

"Alpha... I think we need to take her hoodie off". Dr. Riley suggested and I got confused.

"No!... She will be mad at us if you do that". Amy got very worried.

"Tell me Doctor why do we need to take her hoodie off?". I agree to Amy. Besides I don't want others to see her without her hood, only me has the right.

"I smelled blood on her left arm and some medicines....I want to see why she uses a very strong drug to her arm". He explained and we all got surprised.

I looked at Amy and she nod at me. She agreed to take her cousin's hoodie off.

"We can't cut or rip this, it's one of her favorite. Her late Mum gave it to her". And tears falls from her eyes.

My heart broke more into pieces knowing that she's an orphan now. Good thing that she still have the Sanchez.

"I told you, mate needs us!". Aeries suddenly said.

'I'm sorry, I didn't know'. I said to him.

"that's what I'm telling you all along but you just don't listen to me!". He said angrily this time.

'Sorry... I will make it up to her. I promise!'.

"don't make a promise that you can't keep. You've already broken a lot of your promises".

'What promises?'. I was dumbfounded by Aeries words. I know I've been a hard headed person before but I never break any of my words except for the word I gave to that stupid Colt. I have to break it, my future Luna is at stake. I already lost Cara, I will never going to lose Eve this time.

'Aeris!'. I tried to call him back but he shut me out again.

"Hey!". Emma called for my attention.

"Sorry... It's Aeries!".

"He's back?". Emma shows a big surprise on her face. I just nod at her.

"So how are we going to do this?". I asked Amy.

"Let's start with her right hand".

Amy slowly pulled Eve's arms inside the shirt, one by one. When both of her arms are inside she slowly pulled it up to her head. Emma and I gave Amy a hand. When I touch Eve's hand a spark of electricity climbs to my hands. A tingling feeling that gives you a sense of satisfaction and contentment.

"You feel that?". Aiden suddenly said behind me and I was startled by him.

"Yeah... Is that what you called a spark?". I dumbfoundedly asked him.

"Yup!.... A sensation that can be very addicting". He said with a wide smile.

"So you always feel it when you're with Amy?".

Okay, I know I sound weird but I am really new to this mate thing. With Cara back then, she is the only one who can see a so called string of bond. At ten, I can only feel a strong attachment with her. The elders are the only ones who told me that Cara is my mate and when the right time comes I will feel enormous joy of having her . But where's the joy now that she's gone. But still I'm glad that I found Eve. She will be the new joy in my life.

"Of course, that's why I don't leave her side". He said and looked at Amy lovingly.

I envy him. Aiden looks very happy with her.
