"For some unknown reason, I really thought I had seen you somewhere before," Aldric uttered as he looked at Max. Then he shrugged. "Either way, I never thought that you would meet someone as lovely as your wife."
Eve only smiled in response. Then she took a step back, allowing Max to do all the talking this time. In fact, Eve had seen the Lycan king's portrait in the past, but this was the first time she had seen him in person.
Contrary to the details that Ronald gave her, this man was not as frightening as his portrait.
In that portrait, there was a very large scar that ran from the King's left forehead, down to his left cheek. However, there was currently no scar or any sign of it on the King's face. King Aldric had a very masculine face with a tall nose, beautiful dark brown eyes, and sharp eyebrows. To some, he is considered very attractive and fierce. A truly fitting face for a Lycan King.
