Realization
Eve's brow furrowed as she slowly vanished from the maze.
What just happenned? While she could still sense the maze's presence, she could not sense the source of the explosion. Nevertheless, she recognized it as a spell.
What was that?
Upon reappearing, Eve found herself back in her study. She looked at the documents that Trinity had already placed on her table, just as she had asked, before she sat down and started biting her lower lip.
The recent events in the maze left her deeply puzzled. Could Max be responsible?
If she were in the Demons' position, she would immediately suspect human involvement as it was too coincidental. The timing seemed just right, if not perfect. It was hard to believe that humans were not behind it.
Her hand slammed onto the table as she realized something important. In fact, there was only one person capable of orchestrating everything—someone who had been manipulating things behind the scenes.
