Fatal - Tea Party part 2

The vampire's tone grew noticeably colder when she spoke, her words carrying a harsh edge as she addressed Penelope about the tea. "What did you say?" she demanded, her displeasure evident.

Penelope, however, refused to back down. "Would you like me to brew it again?" she replied fearlessly.

"You wanted to brew the tea, especially for me?" the vampire asked incredulously, her tone still frosty.

"Yes," Penelope confirmed. "Since you thought it was too cold, I can brew it again."

"Have you no shame?" the vampire asked. "Have you learned nothing from your Mistress? What of your class?"

"I—" Penelope was left speechless by the woman's scolding, unsure of how to respond.

"It is impolite to offer something to me without running it to the host. If the host of the party tells you to brew it again, then you brew it again. You are not the host of this party. How dare you offer something like that to a mere visitor?"
