"Are you certain it can cause addiction?" Lucius's eyes were fixed on the vampire confined within the cell. Doubt flickered across his face. "Perhaps it was something else that triggered this... transformation."
Evelynn's response was firm and unwavering. "I am certain." She made a deliberate pause, her gaze steady as she continued. "I have conducted extensive experiments with the concoction on various subjects. They all developed a strong liking for it, eventually forsaking real blood, whether from humans or animals. The addiction to the concoction consumed them, leading to this... state."
Lucius contemplated her words, his gaze returning to the tormented vampire. "Then maybe we could find a way to control its effects, to use it strategically against vampires who pose a threat to our kingdom."
